The BBA International Management program is designed to deliver an in depth understanding of the increasing emphasis that the international perspective has within the business industry. The course develops and explores the growing diversity of business within the global markets. BBA International Management graduates will gain essential skills to assess the global environment for business, develop new business opportunities, analyse international markets and develop effective communication skills.

The Three Stages of the DBA

The doctorate program is broken down into 3 stages and accounts for a total of 180 ECTS credits.

> Stage One - Preliminary acceptanceThe first stage is the approval of the applicant´s dossier wherein the required documents must be submitted.

> Stage 2 - Submission of the Pre-Thesis reportFollowing approval of the dossier, the Pre-Thesis stage is completed over 2 semesters. During this period the candidate is closely monitored by an experienced faculty member, but the work remains predominantly independent. A pre-thesis report with a minimum of 20 pages is required. A thorough review of this pre-thesis report is made by the academic committee before the student is able to move the next stage of study.

> Stage 3 – Full Doctoral ThesisFollowing the completion of the Pre-Thesis the candidate will be eligible to continue full implementation of the Doctorate program. This will requires 3 full publishable articles of a minimum of 20 pages or a 200 pages thesis.

Selection Criteria

GBS’s selection process emphasizes leadership potential, academic ability, personal qualities and competencies. We are looking for candidates with managerial experience, people skills and a proven academic record.
