Full Day Tour : Besakih-Kintamani Visit Tenganan Village Tenganan is one of two indigenous locally known as Bali Aga, the beginning of Bali, driven into the

mountainous interiors when modern Balinese arrived from Java by the end of the fourteenth century. Tengananese developed their distinct culture, combining pre-Hindu megalithic tradition with the Hinduism. Most houses are made from concrete bricks roofed with dry grasses called Somi. Girls must marry a local boy. A married man carries Keris traditional dagger whenever he goes outside of their housing compound as a symbol a family guardian. Visit Besakih Temple Pura Besakih is a temple complex on the slopes of Mount Agung-Balis highest volcano located in Eastern Bali. It is also called as the Mother Temple of Bali as this is the most important and the largest temple in Bali. Made up of twenty three temples that sit on parallel ridges, Besakih Temple has stepped terraces and stairs ascending a number of courtyards and brick gateways that leads to the main temple Pura Penataran Agung. The symbolic centre of the main sanctuary in this Pura Penataran Agung is the lotus throne or padmasana, and all the way to this temple is aligned in single axis with the purpose to lead the spiritual person upward and closer to the mountain which is considered sacred to the Balinese. Everyday throughout the year, Balinese from all over the islands come over to Besakih Temple to worship. Visit Penglipuran The village of Penglipuran is set along a hilly countryside, a delightful, well-kept village composed of wide, brick roads, lined with rows of charming, antique houses with neatly manicured gardens in between. The village is a traditional one, which remains true to the traditional methods of bamboo architecture. In this bamboo town,

almost everything around you is made from the abundant plant; kitchens, majestic gates and doorways, furniture, roofs and gates. Many of the styles and creations, such as the bamboo roof shingles, are unique to the little town and not found anywhere else. Overnight in Ubud.

Day 4 Kintamani - Ubud (Breakfast: Hotel / Lunch: Meals incl. in itinerary (Indonesia)

Full Day Tour : Ubud Artisan Sunrise Trekking On Batur Volcano (SIC) Trek up the highest peak of Balis sacred mountain and witness a glorious sunrise over a volcanic crater. Set your alarm clock and in the very early hours of the morning depart from your hotel to the starting point at the base of Mount Batur. The friendly guides will be there to welcome you, provide you with the necessary equipment, and take you through a thorough safety briefing. Then turn on your flashlights and set off in the cool, early morning darkness. The first section takes you uphill through volcanic ash, sand and small rocks. Continue ascending to the top of the crater where the terrain becomes windswept with fewer rocks and vegetation. Relax at the summit with a simple breakfast while witnessing the sunrise and the stunning morning views of Mount Abang and Mount Agung. On clear days it is even possible to view Lomboks Mount Rinjani in the distance across the Lombok Strait. Walk to another crater rim before descending along the same path you climbed in the dark, this time being able to enjoy the spectacular views of the surrounding landscape and Lake Batur. You can even see some of the lava flows and their path of destruction from the most recent eruptions. At the bottom take a well earned dip in a hot spring before returning to your hotel. Located on the cool western edge of Bedulu Village, six kilometres out of central Ubud, you do not need more than an hour to descend to its relic filled courtyard and view the rock wall carvings, a central meditational cave, bathing pools and fountains.
