Bamboo fiber & fabricThe fiber is bright and beautiful. Meanwhile there are unique antibacterial and deodorant performance, fine coloration , elasticity, drapability, wearability etc., especially the best ability of moisture absorption and ventilating of all fibers. Bamboo fiber horizontal cross-section is abounded with gap that can absorbe and evaporate the moisture of human skin instantly. When you wear bamboo fiber fabric in hot summer, it makes you feel especially cool. As bamboo fiber has special structures and natural “hollow” in the horizontal cross sections, experts named bamboo fiber as "breathing" fabric. It is used for underwear, T–shirt , the bed clothes.

Bamboo chemical utilizationThe latest research showed that there are many differentflavone glycosides in bamboo leaves, which have excellentphysiological activities as anti-free radical, anti-oxidation and anti-aging agents.Green-dry leaves bamboo were picked in autumn and extracted. After boiling the bamboo leaves in water, the extract was concentrated in vacuum, and the impurities removed using the ethanol precipitation method, to give a fine bamboo leaf juice. The bamboo beer was prepared by adding the juice to the originalbeer, then mixed, filtered and bottled. The amount of the juice added, taking its total flavonoids (TF) amount as index, was between 10 to 50 mg per liter, depending on requirements.In addition to the general characteristics of beer, bamboo beer showed multiple health benefits, such as lowering blood lipids and preventing heart diseases. Furthermore, bamboo beer presents a typical delicate fragrance of bamboo to match the beer flavor. This health beer is available in Chinese markets.Flavonoids made from bamboo leaves are also used to make medicine such as capsules.

Bamboo vinegar has 80% water. When it is dehydrated the vinegar consists of about 80-200 components, or 32% organic acid, 40% phenolic compound, 3% aldehyde, 5% alkone compound, 5% alcohol compound, 4% ester compound, and 5% others.

Bamboo vinegar is a by-product of bamboo carbonization. Bamboo vinegar can be used as soil fungicide, plant root growth promoter and deodorizer, in cosmetics, healthy drinks, medicines, etc.
