Operational Information Against Illegal VoIP Installation Located in Dhaka:

Eight operations against illegal VoIP were conducted by a joint team of BTRC and Law enforcing

agency to the following addresses:-

(1). on 5th March 2018, located at H#142/2,Kuddus Kholifa Road, Morkun, East Gopalpur, Tongi,

Gazipur,

(2). on 6th March 2018, located at House#55,5th Floor,Road#02, Mohammodia Housing Ltd,

Mohammodpur,

(3). on 7th March 2018, located at Mayer Doya Nodi House,6th Floor, North Shahjahanpur,

Shahjahanpur,

(4). on 8th March 2018, located at House# 16/1, 4th Floor, 3rd Lane,Gopibagh, Motijheel, DMP,

Dhaka,

(5). on 11th March 2018, located at Sadia Monjil, 7th Floor, Road# 05,Block#F, Bonosree,

Khilgaon,

(6). on 12th March 2018, located at House# 32/17, 5th Floor, Block#C, Tazmahal Road, Krishi Market,

Mohammodpur, DMP, Dhaka,

Eight accused persons have been arrested for illegal VoIP activities. Criminal lawsuits have been lodged

for such illegal activities under section 35(2), 55(7) of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulation
