Product InformationeLabDoc makes it easier than ever to find all the product information relevant to you.

Using images of eLabDoc itself, this guide describes how to quickly find documents such as Method Sheets, Material Safety Data Sheets and Declaration of Conformity.


4 Overview

OvervieweLabDoc is the central resource of documents for Roche products in the fields of:

• Clinical chemistry

• Immunology

• Coagulation

• Blood gas analysis

• Molecular diagnostics

• Point of care

• Tissue diagnostics

• Life Science

If not registered, the following documents are available in various languages:

• Method sheets / Instructions for Use

• Safety data sheets

• Declarations of conformity

q While basic features of eLabDoc are available without login, registration and login will provide access to additional document types and services, including:

o Local documents

o Value sheets

o Barcode sheets

o Operator’s manuals

o New since last visit searches

o Favorites (lab systems profile)

o Update notifications

o One-click multiple downloads

Main Menu HeadereLabDoc pages contain a header menu to:

• Search field

• Catalog Search

Documents SearchThe search page is displayed after accessing eLabDoc.

Search terms may be based on:

• Catalog number

• Lot number

• Product name

Quick Search

r To search for a document

1 Enter search term in field provided.

f As search term is typed, autocompleted search terms are displayed.

2 Select a suggested search item.e.g. 10759350190f OR

3 Press enter, or click search symbol (magnifying glass).

6 Documents Search

Search Results

Document searches (default) match catalog number, lot number, document title, product name or key word.

Number of results is shown in brackets to the right of search term.

Search results show:

• Document title

• Search term (number of results)

• Document type

• New status icon (where relevant)

• Product name

• Version number

• Language

- Two letter language code

- Multi-language symbol

• Modification date

• Catalog number

Up to 20 items are loaded initially. Continuous scrolling loads additional items if available.

Clicking on various page elements reveals:

• Instructions

• Explanations

• Additional informatione.g. Catalog # - Additional References

Search results are ranked according to modified date (default). Results can be ranked by either:

• Date• Document Type• Document Title• Relevance

C Document type H Modification date

Filter Search Results

Filter search results via selectable menus located to the right of the search results.

Possible filter are:

• Languages

• Document Types

• Product Categories

• Systems

• Catalog Numbers

• Versions

• File Formats

• Published Since

r To refine an existing search

1 Click inside box below relevant filter.e.g. Document Types

2 Select a filter.e.g. Method Sheetf OR

3 Click select document type to close menu.

f Updated search results are displayed as filters are changed.

1 Click delete symbol (X).

2 Click all options.

f Shows available filters.

3 Select relevant filters.

4 Click show results button.

Document Download

Download files by clicking on the document title.

Browse Catalog

Browse catalog to find documents and define favorites.

Catalog pages include:

• System / Assay name (# of results)

• Catalog navigator

• Products

Products may be viewed as list or in panes.

1 Click relevant Assay / System.

2 The Catalog Search Results page opens.

• Selected system / assaye.g. ClinChem Calibrators

• Systems / assays within diagnostic fielde.g. RD/Hitachi Assays

Click a product e.g. ClinChem Cailibrators.

The result page opens.

1 Click within drop-down menus box, and select specific application.
