• Research

• Design

• Evaluation

Benefits of usability Evaluation:• Scalable• Flexible• Helps to refine the design• Iterative process hence can

use again & again

Usability Evaluation :Usability evaluation assesses the extent to which an

interactive system is easy and pleasant to use for user.

Benefits of usability Evaluation:• Scalable• Flexible• Helps to refine the design• Iterative process hence

can use again & again

Important points for Usability Evaluation:• Clear about the purpose• Thinking about scope• Knowing issues• Users• Context• Budget• Deliverables

Page 12: Basics of Ux Design

Usability Evaluation Techniques :

• Usability walkthroughs

• Usability Testing• Moderated usability testing• Unmoderated usability testing• User Acceptance Test (UAT)

• Expert Reviews

• Competitor Analysis

Page 13: Basics of Ux Design

User Acceptance test (UAT):UAT is the way of ensuring every feature that was documented, exists in the design.

This is typically the last step before the product goes live or before the delivery of the product is accepted and conducted by the user or client.

Phases for conducting UAT : • Introduction &

Formalities• Pre-test session• Crux of testing• Post test phase• Debrief
