It went very well and from what I heard from the children both meals were delicious. We will have another great meal deal going in August next term. The canteen gave $2,000 to P & C this month towards the purchase of equipment and resources for the children of Bathurst West. This would not be possible without the wonderful support I receive from the school community. Just by using the canteen even occasionally enables us to have the funds available to give to the P & C for the school. THANK YOU ALL. I wish you all a great holiday and break and look forward to seeing and preparing lunches and afternoon teas for the children of our great school in term 3.

COLES SPORTS FOR SCHOOLS PROGRAM The Kindergarten children have been having a lot of fun playing with their new ball kit.

The ball kit is part of the items that the School won by participating the Coles Sports for Schools Program last year. We also won netball, touch football, golf and rugby league sets.

By Maddison, Chloe and Braydon. Week two 11th May 2011 Again this week we weeded and weeded, we used a shove to do this. Miss Thompson and several of the Banksia boys built some of the garden beds higher by screwing sleepers on top of each other. It looked great. We also started to plant some seeds. To do this we....... 1. Put some soil in some egg cartons. 2. Made some holes in the dirt with our fingers. 3. We then put some seeds in the holes and covered them with dirt. 4. We then watered them and put them in the sun to grow.
