The “ES-B” is a multifunction unit that integrates both lathes and machining center processes, highly increasing the machine flexibility.The working capability with both fixed and rotating tools allows to proceed from raw material to finished part on one set of chuck only, improving the machiningaccuracy, removing dead times between different processes and reducing lead times.
The “B axis” unit is equipped with a servomotor for the rotation, by backlash free transmission.Hirth type frontal coupling secures the indexing when positioning.The electrospindle is driven by a coaxial integrated servomotor of the latest generation (synchronous motor).In turning operation the spindle axis is indexed.
As a rule the unit is used together with an “Y axis” and an automatic tool changer system (ATC).

RV-B“B” AXIS WITH SM-BR TURRET
The RV-B unit is the combination of a “B AXIS” tablewith a super-fast servomotor turret, SM-BR model, forfront and back-machining operations.Advantages:• Short tool-change times• Automatic tool change system on the machine is not
required
Other solutions with different “B Axis” tablemorphologies (sizes, versions, strokes, etc.) usingdifferent turret models, can be designed so to meet themost advanced requirements of your machine.
