1. Install IIS on Windows Server 2008

1. Click Start -> All Programs -> Administrative Tools -> Server

Manager.

2. In the Server Manager window, scroll down to Roles Summary, andthen click Add Roles. The Add Roles Wizard will start with a Before You

Begin page. The wizard asks for verification of the following:

a. The administrator account has a strong password.

b. The network settings, such as IP addresses, are configured.

c. The latest security updates from Windows® Update are installed.

3. Select Web Server (IIS) on the Select Server Roles page. An

introductory page will open with links for further information.

Note: When you use the Add Roles Wizard to install IIS, you get the

default installation, which has a minimum set of role services. If you need

additional IIS role services, such as Application Development or Health

and Diagnostics, make sure to select the check boxes associated with

those features in the Select Role Services page of the wizard.

4. Select the IIS services to be installed on the Select Role Services page.

Add only the modules necessary. In this case, ASP.NET is selected, and a

description of ASP.NET appears in the right pane. Once desired modules are

added, click Next.

5. Add any required role services.

6. IIS is now installed with a default configuration for hosting ASP.NET on

Windows Server. Click Close to complete the process.




7. Confirm that the Web server works by using http://localhost.



• Configure your IIS-SMTP server with the

following procedure, (Note that below procedure is applicable for the IIS 6 not IIS 7)

Procedure

1• Start the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager

application. (Start Run inetmgr)

• Right-click the Default SMTP Virtual Server.

• Select the Properties option.

• Select the DeliveryAdvanced...Smart host options.

•

Enter your server name.

• Click the OK - OK buttons and close the IIS manager.

• In Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 (all editions),modify the registry keyHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\TcpIp\Parameters

• On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORDValue. Type DisableUserTOSSetting as the entry name,and then press ENTER. Note: When you add this entry,the value is set to 0 (zero). Do not change the value.

• After this change, Quit Registry Editor, and then restart

the computer.

• Install Java

• Install Java SE Runtime 6 (32bit) (so called Java 1.6)

• Use 32–bit Java, even on 64–bit OS/SQL servers.

Add the software package to the created virtual unit with themenu function SoftwareAdd Software... and select the packagesCEM Database Server and CPM Database Server from the list.



Commence the database installation by selecting the Software Apply Changes to Host option.



After that we have changed the

Maintenance address or name to the database server for CPMdatabase to BCM\BCM instead of BCM –

After successful web server installation you should be able to see a web site named SPARTA_WEB

in the Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) control panel.

2.3 CORE virtual unit



Installing sw:



CORE virtual unit consists of Contact Event Manager (CEM), Call Dispatcher (CD)

and Chat server. In large systems these components could be separated to dedicated virtual units.

Typical (minimum) information needed by core component software packages:CEM Chat Server

CDIP address of the virtual unit

Connection information for SQL

server(s) Database names

1. Activate Default System in the left frame and select the function Software Add Virtual Unit... and give it the name SPARTA_CORE and

select the base installation from the list.

2. Right-click the virtual unit, select the item Add Software... and select the software packages

Chat Server

3. Enter the following values to the virtual unit info panel's edit boxes:

5. Start the core virtual unit installation by selecting the function Software Apply Changes to Host .

2.4 PSTN virtual unit

PSTN virtual unit consists of H323 Bridge, SIP Bridge, Media Routing Server (MRS) and Prompts. H323 bridge and SIP bridge can be configured to

connect with gateways

and MRS plays all the prompts (prerecorded messages). In large systems these components could be separated to dedicated virtualunits.

Typical (minimum) information needed by PSTN related software packages:

IP address of the virtual unit H323 bridge gateway ID’s SIP bridge gateway ID’s

Certificate name and issuer for SIP TLS connections

1. Activate Default System in the left frame and select the function Software Add Virtual Unit... and give it the name SPARTA_PSTN_1 and select

the base installation from the list.

2.9 DEFINING AND APPLYING DOMAIN ACCOUNT FOR HAC SERVICE

1. In this example, the domain is called Spartasme2. Domain account name is bcmadmin

3. Apply the domain account for SAP BCM HAC <servername> service:

Start Administrative toolsServices.Right click the SAP BCM HAC <servername> service and select PropertiesLog on.

Select This Account: radio button.

Browse the domain account. (BrowseLocations…Entire Directoryspartaconsulting .localOK)Enter the name BCMAdmin and click OK.Enter the password (Training08 ) and confirm it.Restart SAP BCM HAC BCM service.

Now all virtual units have been deployed. The VUA view should look like in the figure

2.10 INITIALIZE CPM DATABASE

After installing the CPM database run the SQL jobs in

SQL Agent Jobs list

- SPARTA_CPM full-text search init

- SPARTA_CPM TM full-text search init (* see note below

This enables making full text searches among the data.

(* NOTE: SPARTA_CPM TM full-text search init job should be run

only when you want to use Communication Task Management,

CTM.



3 SYSTEM MODEL IN IA (Infrastructure Administrator)

Start the Infrastructure Administrator (IA) tool with the shortcut or by

clicking the C:\ProgramFiles\SAP\BCM\IA\IA.exe. Configuring system model:

HAC- High Availability Controller

- Alarm Server



Enter the name of the HAC node: BCM | use the name of your server

Enter the IP address and the port of the HAC node: 10.0.20.41:21012 | select the correct IP addresses

Enter the default path for home directory: C:\Program Files\SAP\BCM | from separate documentEnter the default path for log file directory: $WICOM_HOME$ | default

On Network tab, enter IP addresses for Administration: 10.0.20.41:21014 | select the correct IP addresses

Click Add and Apply.

1. Add the virtual unit SPARTA_WEB: Configuring system model: Web site(s)- Web Admin tools

Right-click the Virtual Units in the model view and select - Web Clients

2. Add the virtual unit SPARTA_CORE:

Right-click the Virtual Units in the model view and select the Add... SAP BCM Core Server Virtual Unit



Dialog boxes appear asking for the following information:| Remarks:

Name of the virtual unit: SPARTA_CORE | name of the core virtual unit

IP address of the virtual unit: 10.0.20.45 | select the correct IP address from list

Subnet mask for the IP address: 255.255.255.0 | subnet mask depends on the

network

Add chat server component to the Components section:

Right-click Components and select Add Component SAP BCM product SAP BCM Chat Server



Select server (HAC Node) for the virtual unit by right-clicking on the Hosts

in the virtual unit and selecting Add Instance BCM

3. Add the virtual unit SPARTA_PSTN_1:

Right-click the Virtual Units in the model view and selectthe Add...SAP BCM H.323 Bridge Server Virtual Unit .


Name of the virtual unit: SPARTA_PSTN_1IP address of the virtual unit: 10.0.20.46 Subnet mask for the IP address: 255.255.255.0

Add other needed component to the Components section:

Right-click Components and select Add ComponentSAP BCM product




in the virtual unit and selecting Add Instance BCM .

4. Add the virtual unit SPARTA_TERMINAL_1:

Right-click the Virtual Units in the model view and select the Add... SAP BCM Connection Server Virtual Unit . Dialog boxes appear

asking for the following information:

Subnet mask for the IP address: 255.255.255.0 | subnet mask depends on the network

Name of the IIS site: $VU_NAME$ | variable name, inserts the name of the VU



HTTP path to a web page...: /getwcstatus.htm | default web site test page, don’t change

Right-click Components and select Add ComponentSAP BCM productSAP BCM Data Collector


in the virtual unit and selecting Add Instance BCM



7. Save the system model:

Select the menu function File > Save As... and save the file in the directory

C:\Program Files\SAP\BCM\VU\HAC_1\etc with the default name model.wim



Arrange the IA window and panel sizes according to your needs and make it default by selecting menu

function Views > Save Settings.

8. Start the SAP BCM HAC BCM service in the Programs Administrative tools Services application.

It was already started

9. Close Infrastructure Administrator (IA) and restart it.

10. Set the IA tool to on-line mode by selecting menu function Monitoring Connect…. Use the Login

name that you’ve entered in VUA to log in (BCMAdmin) with correct password.
