HOT SUMMER NIGHTS CONCERT SERIES

Thursdays in August Main Gallery @ 7 PM Concerts will be inside the library and are sponsored by the Blount County Friends of the Library.

August 16: Wild Blue Yonder Band, is an East Tennessee based trio preserving the musical traditions of the Appalachian region.

August 30: Riverdale & caller Sara Melton, a high-energy father-son duo accompanied by a talented caller, will be leading a contra dance. No dancing experience required. There will be an instructional portion at the beginning.

August 23: Streamliners Swing Orchestra, a seventeen piece big band swing orchestra from Knoxville, Tennessee. Grab your dancing shoes and a partner!

August 9: Kukuly and the Gypsy Fuego, is a Knoxville based acoustic ensemble that plays Hot Jazz inspired by French Gypsy guitarist, Django Reinhardt, and jazz violinist, Stephane Grappelli.

August 2: Handsome and the Humbles, is an Alt-country/Americana rock band from the hills of East Tennessee.
