Keeping hydrated is especially important in the colder months because we naturally tend to do things that potentially dehydrate the skin such as drinking more dehydrating hot cups of tea and coffee. Our skin therefore needs even more hydration. 3). Sunscreen Sunscreen You cannot stop wearing sunscreen by thinking it’s a cold winter afternoon and it doesn’t matter. UVA ageing rays are present all year round so applying a face SPF 50 is important to keep wrinkles at bay. Tips for glowing skin in WINTER

4). Avoid Harsh Conditions No matter how tempting it is to bathe with hot water, it must be avoided at all costs. Really hot water can damage and sensitise the skin. Use lukewarm water, give your skin extra nourishment by using a protective oil to prevent moisture loss from the skin. Eat foods rich in Omega-3 fatty acids are good forcalming the skin and will reinforce the protective barrier function of the skin keeping it soft and hydrated. Including flaxseeds, walnuts, salmon and also high quality protein in your diet will help to increase natural oils in your skin and hair.
