The Beonic Thermal Sensors ELis a state-of-the-art, extremelyaccurate, ceiling mounted, people counter.
These sensors are high quality, compact devices of robustconstruction, are reliable in a wide variety of environments.Though inconspicuous, they canbe found in many of Australia’sbusiest public areas.
The Beonic Thermal Sensor EL is powered by the Beonic Event Logger that can collate data from a range of differentsensors.
It employs a high accuracy,Infra-red, heat-sensitive sensorto count body heat going in multiple directions.

Why choose the Beonic Thermal Sensor EL?
• Highly accurate
• Operates independent of ambient light
• Unobtrusive and visually discreet
• Low installation and ongoing maintenance costs
• Economical, exible and reliable
• Overhead positioning eliminates sensor blocking
Capabilities of the Beonic Thermal Sensor EL
• Determine trac volume into and aroundshopping centres, retail outlets, car parks, hospitality venues and public spaces
• Count trac in two directions
• Distinguishes people entering “side-by-side”
• Excludes “dithering” trac and U-turns
The Beonic Thermal Sensor EL is ideally suited to
counting trac in busy areas and entrances as
it doesn’t suer the inaccuracies of beam and
video counters. The high accuracy of the Beonic
Thermal Sensor EL provides solid and reliable data.
This data provides the foundation for modern
trac and sales analysis, critical for informed and
eective management.

Standard Beonic Thermal Sensors have a 60o eld of view, making them suitable for ceiling heights between 2.5 - 4.8m.
Narrower 40o lenses are available that aresuitable for ceilings between 4 - 7.5m.For outdoor applications a 20o lense is also available that has a range of 7 - 12m.
During the conguration process, itis important to design the zone and minimize the possibility of leakage. Both the zone line position and shapecan be congured. A count is recordedwhen a person crosses the designated line in a specic direction.
Directional and non-directional count recording is also user selectable.
