Children enrolled in childcare centers must follow the guide-lines set forth by the center. What about transportation? Families provide transportation to childcare collaboration sites and school sites. Transportation is sometimes provided through Head Start partner-ships and is provided for students who qualify for Pre-K specials needs.

What are the program hours? Pre-K runs a minimum of six (6) hours per day. Berkeley County Schools’ Pre-K follows a calendar similar to the Berkeley County Schools’ calendar with alternate Mondays off for staff profes-sional development and parent trainings.
