NEW VILLAGE SQUARETHE former Austral Bricks site inWantirna South, being developedby Mirvac, is starting to takeshape, with the first buyerssettling on their land. The$430 million Harcrestdevelopment is being transformed

into a 56ha community featuring840 contemporary homes.

Demand has been strong, with80 per cent of Village SquarePrecinct sold and more than 9000people registering on thecompany’s database. Constructionof Harcrest Boulevard is almostcomplete, while the temporaryHarcrest sales office is alsoscheduled to open onsite nextmonth. ‘‘In the well-establishedCity of Knox, a master-plannedcommunity of this scale is ararity,’’ Mirvac Victoria chiefexecutive John Carfi said.
