Beryllium CopperFinger StripBCF/SSF

Series

Beryllium Copper provides excellent EMI protectionwhen used as a gasket, due to its high electrical con-ductivity. This combined with its other main features ofhigh tensile strength, fatigue resistance and its springlike qualities makes the ideal material for use in appli-cations such as enclosure door surrounds/seals, whererepeated opening and closing is likely to occur. Themajor advantage that Beryllium Copper gaskets haveover most other conductive gaskets is that they will tol-erate a wiping or shearing action, whereas other mate-rials must have a normal compressive force applied tothem.Beryllium Copper finger strips are supplied in standardlengths, other lengths may be supplied as custom. Thestrips have a bright copper finish as standard but canalso be plated with Tin, Nickel etc to provide galvaniccompatibility with your enclosure. These strips are alsoavailable in stainless steel.
