GENERAL GUIDELINESChildren are placed in age-appropriate groups by grade level. Children are encouraged to be at camp by 9am unless otherwise noted. Please bring sunscreen and water daily. Please label all personal items.

FREE LUNCH! YES, FREE!Save time and money this summer when your child is a YMCA camper. All full-day YMCA campers will be provided free, healthy daily lunches this summer. The food will be specially prepared by our SKY Academy Café, which means the meals will contain whole foods and be free of additives, trans-fats or most dyes. Menus are designed by a registered dietitian.

MEMBER DISCOUNTS & SCHOLARSHIP ASSISTANCEFamily and Single-Parent Family Members qualify for the member rate. A special Family Summer Membership is offered (see back cover.) Financial Assistance is available to those in need. To apply, download an application online or confidential forms are available at either of our locations. ROCK N’ WARRIOR CAMPFull Day Only - Rock n’ Warrior camp is a combination of rock climbing and mini ninja classes. Campers will spend their day running an obstacle course using climbing ropes, a cargo net, 30ft tumble track, foam pit and climbing the 24ft rockwall. Campers will build strength, agility, and balance as well as learn the fundamentals of rock climbing. Each week will end with a Rock n’ Warrior Challenge! Campers will also enjoy games, swimming, arts & crafts along with a FREE lunch and p.m. snack.

RECREATIONAL TENNIS CAMP (Co-Ed)Held @ Courtside Tennis Club, 512 Auburn Rd, Venice, FL 34292. Led by Head Tennis Director/ Tennis Pro Matt Liverman. Transportation from the Venice SKY YMCA is provided, if needed. Bus will leave the Venice SKY Y gymnasium promptly at 10:40 am and return at 12:50 pm. CAMP ITEM INCLUDED.

AQUATICSSWIM LEAGUE & LESSONS

SKY SWIM ACADEMYSwim students take part in a progression-based 30 minute lesson during a three week session. Students are grouped by age and current skill level. All lessons include basic water safety and rescue, fundamentals of swimming, and progressive skill development. We maintain low instructor to student ratios for quality instruction.AGES: 3+ yearsWEEKS: Session I- June 3 – June 21 Session II- June 24 – July 12 (no class July 4) Session III- July 15 – August 2 TIMES: Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs; 4-6 pmCOST: Members - $35 Non Members - $50

PRIVATE SWIM LESSONSAvailable for youth and adults, from beginners to competitors. For beginners, our instructors can improve your level of comfort in the water and progress from provide basic survival skills to swim fundamentals. For more advanced swimmers, our instructors can provide stroke refinement training. Lessons are coordinated between you and the instructor. JR. LIFEGUARD CAMP During each two week session the kids will learn rescue skills at the pool along with an educational trip to the beach. They also will learn first aid, CPR, sun safety and valuable leadership skills as part of becoming a Jr. Lifeguard. There is a strong physical focus on this camp as the campers will be building their swimming endurance and learning proper swimming techniques that are needed for rescues. SKY SUMMER SWIM LEAGUESwimmers of all levels and ages are welcome to come learn the fundamentals of what it is like to be on a swim team. Participants will practice mornings or evenings, Monday to Thursday. Swimmers will learn all four competitive strokes of swimming while building self confidence, discipline and of course, having some fun while competing in four exciting swim meets throughout the summer.
