Deputy's CornerThe first Year 6 Student Leadership Conference was launched on Thurs-day 6th of April. All of our Year 6 students were privileged to hear three outstanding speakers. Flying Officer Todd Skipper from the RAAF spoke to our students about the qualities and styles of leadership. Ms Melissa Symonds (Adaptive Education Coordinator) spoke about overcoming obstacles in her life as a leader and Pastor Mike Weiring from Torrens Val-ley Christian Centre spoke about the leadership of Jesus as he demonstrat-ed servant leadership. It was a terrific day of team games and networking within their peer group, and I was so proud of the students for their excel-lent participation.

Our Early Learning Centre has been an exceptional success this year. The new facilities are outstanding and it has been such a blessing to be able to see our newest members of the school settling in so well. The Early Learning Centre will be officially opened on Wednesday 17th of May (Week 3 of Term 2) at 11am in the Performing Arts Centre. Everyone from our school community is wel-come to come to the official opening.

Next week is a shorter week as we will finish at 12:10 pm on Thursday 13th of April, breaking up for the Eas-ter long weekend. I do wish you and your family a very safe and blessed Easter. I pray that you will have a lovely school break and I look forward to seeing you all in Term 2!

God bless you!
