of sophisticated home furnishings influenced by authentic, traditional designs that have been

updated for the relaxed and more casual look of today. Clean, strong lines, stepped moldings and

turned posts complement the beauty of the natural wood, which takes front and center with

plantation grown mahogany veneers. Presented in a mid-tone Tobacco and deeper Molasses finish,

the veneers are hand waxed and distressed and feature character marks such as knots and mineral

streaks to create an authentic, aged look. Blackened cast iron and a creative use of antique mirror,

leather inserts and metal framing add a touch of the eclectic, while blackened solid brass hardware

completes the antique feel. Modern conveniences and versatility abound with media components,

hidden storage compartments, adjustable shelving, jewelry trays and silverware inserts. Vintage

Wood and VeneerAt Bernhardt, we pride ourselves on the contribution we make to theoptimization of forest resources. We use engineered wood in combinationwith fine hardwood veneers. These resources are natural, renewableand recyclable.

The composite wood products used in this furniture meet the Phase 1standards of the Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) enacted bythe California Air Resource Board (CARB).

PackagingAll packaging is 100% recyclable. The corrugate materials (flutedcardboard carton and inner packing) are made from recycled materialswith a post consumer content of 25%. The furniture packing is alsodesigned to utilize the least volume for transport in order to minimizetransportation energy resources.

Catalog Paper and InkIn an effort to improve our environmental citizenshipand to protect our natural resources, this catalog isprinted entirely on Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)certified paper. FSC certification ensures that thepaper in this catalog contains fiber from well-managedand responsibly harvested forests that meet strictenvironmental standards. The inks used to print thiscatalog are vegetable and soy based inks.
