CRITERIA FOR EVALUATION OF BEST TOP PRANT ATTHE NATIONAL LEVEL FOR THE YEAR 2008-09

I. Qualifying Conditions:i) Minimum 10% increase in the membership of the prant having morethan 41 branchesii) Minimum 15% increase in the membership of the prant having morethan 21 to 40 branchesiii) Minimum 20% increase in the membership of the prant having upto20 branches

II. Points of Evaluation: Prant found qualified on above basis will beevaluated on the following points:i. Number of increase in Branches over 2008-09 (10 points per branch)ii.Opening new branch in a district which does not have any branch willbe given 1 bonus point extra per district.

iii. Percentage growth of membership over last years (2 points perpercentage)iv. a) Prantiya workshop held upto 30th June 2008 (10 points)b) Prantiya/ Branch level workshop held up to Dec.2008 (5 points)

v. Permanent projects: (10 points per project for category A, 5 points forcategory B and 3 points for category C. These points will be awardedonly when detailed category-wise list of these projects is submitted withthis format.vi. Submission of yearly calendar (programme) of 2008-09 upto 30th June,2008 (5 points)vii. Submission of budget upto 30th June-2008 for the year 2008-09. (5points)

viii. Submission of Audited Accounts for the year 2007-08 upto 31.5.2008(10 points)ix. Holding Prantiya Executive Committee Meeting Half yearly (5 pointsper meeting)x. Holding Prantiya Council Meeting Half yearly (5 points per meeting)

ASSAMKarimganj : Organized a

meeting on Swami Vivekananda& Education at Bakarshal HighSchool, Jabainpur, Karimganj on20.5.09. A large number ofParishad members, teachers &elites of the locality attended themeeting. Nirpupam Nandi, jointsecretary spoke on the occasionalong with the headmaster &others. After that a ceiling fan wasprovided to the school by theParishad. Chocolate, biscuits etc.were also distributed among thestudents of the school.

Branch observed worldEnvironment Day on 5th June,2009 In a befitting manner. Onthat occasion, meetings wereorganized at different EducationalInstitutions & at Maizgram toaware the people aboutpreservance of nature. About 100 persons including members and the guestsbenefited from his valuable guidance. Dr. Vishaw Mohan also thankedthe Parishad for taking initiative for conducting this type of seminar andmaking people aware about their heart.

Janakpuri, Delhi South : Organized a chekup camp in GeetaMandir on 23.5.09 with the assistance of RLLC Hospital Metro HeartInstitute and cooperation of P&RPA, Janakpuri, where about 98 personswere examined free of cost. Following tests were conducted blood sugarrandom, blood pressure, PEER. ECG, Echo etc. Free consultation wasalso provided by the team doctors. Two dental camps were organized inthe month of May, 2009 where about 90 persons availed the benefit fromthe dental van. An amount of Rs. 1000/- was spent of these camps. FreeYoga camp for school children is being conducted by Smt. Krishna Arora,our member, in association with Bharat Yog Sansthan. About 35 childrenhave been attending the camp which started on 15.5.09. A very usefuldiscourse on 'Relevance of Bhagwat Gita in our day-to day life' wasgiven by Shri Pathak on 30th may 09 He explained that by following theteachings of Gita, one can control his emotions of anger, anxiety, stress& tension and remain in a balanced state of mind. Karimganj, Assam : Organized monthly free health check-upcum awareness and medicine distribution camp at village Nathupur on19th May, 2009. 42 patients of the said village were examined by Dr.M.S. Birjhora : A free health check-up camp was organised by in thepremise Majhigaon L.P.School on 31.05.09. A seven member team ledby Dr. K.N.DevSharma and Dr. Atish Kr. Chakravorthy, joined the campand offered treatment to 132 patients coming from Majhigaon, Kasmagaonand Sonagaon areas. Medicines were also distributed among the patientsfree of cost.
