I have an ongoing project (started from September 2012) on Characterization ofCarbon nanotubes under the Head ofour metallurgical department, Professor G.V.S.Sastry .
MODEX in TECHNEX11, Made a sound navigator, a device that automatically detected the direction of incoming soundand moved in opposite direction.

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of Basic Metallographic techniques. Familiar with Hardness testing machines (Rockwell Tester, Vickers tester), Tensile Test machines, Compression Test
machines (INSTRON).
Knowledge of operating SEM, TEM, XRD Knowledge of Computer Applications in Metallurgy and Material Science
Undergone a lab course on various Metallography Techniques. Did a lab course on Mechanical Testing of Materials that involved testing of materials for Mechanical Properties (fatigue,
creep, hardness, tensile, torsion, shear, impact testing, etc.).
Also attended lab courses on Physical Metallurgy, Extractive Metallurgy, Electrometallurgy &Corrosion, FoundryMetallurgy and Mineral Beneficiation Practices.
EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACHIEVEMENTS
Member of student affiliate chapter of IIM (Indian institute of metals). Participated in STATE-LEVEL FENCING championship in Maharashtra. Designed two wired and manually controlled robots (striker and goalkeeper) for an event Robosoccer organized by our
Institute. Worked as a member of the local marketing team of TECHNEX11.
