Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I have spent most of my years in the Denver area and currently live in Littleton. Since graduation I have worked construction, driven a steam locomotive, a little river guiding, spent years at Craig Hospital and even more at the family business. Sally and I married in 84 and brought our two children home from Kazakhstan on our 10th anniversary. Since becoming a Dad I have coached just about every sport and gone from Den Mom to Scoutmaster. With the kids becoming adults I have picked up a second job working at concerts, Bronco and Avalanche games.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Born in Denver January 3, 1956, Randy completed his earthly journey and went home to the Lord December 6, 2010. A Cherry Creek High and CSU graduate, Randy had a long career with American Family Insurance Co. Survived by sons Robert Pearson Acsell and Randy Mitchell Acsell II, Castle Rock, Colo., parents Raymond Acsell and Edith Peters Acsell, Denver, former wife Doreen Larsh Acsell, Castle Rock, CO, siblings Jeffrey Acsell (Jean), Mt. Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I've spent the majority of the past 40 years working for a children's ministry supplier building puppets that span the globe reaching out to kids of all ages with the message of Jesus' gospel and as director of a puppet team that does the same locally. I am currently in training to go to Africa on a mission trip in February teaching business principles alongside Biblical ones. I'm looking forward to that. I am a breast cancer survivor of 2 years. Wasn't looking forward to that so much, but with the support of my husband, Larry, my church family and my funny little dogs, life is pretty good.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I’ve moved around a lot in 40 years and have taught lots of kids. My first class of fifth graders from Rock Springs, Wyoming are now 45 years old. That is frightening. I’ve also been fortunate to teach in Durango, Seattle and Denver. Now Louisville is my home and I am not planning another move since I just remodeled my kitchen. I substitute teach in NW Denver at my old school. I continue to travel all over the world and I am always thinking of my next trip while counting my Mileage Plus Miles. I am currently single.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: Graduated in 73 to go explore the world. Life is still getting explored in different ways. Have been settled in Corvallis since 1985- been a single mom, have a great acupuncture practice and live in a beautiful place. Raising two sons and supporting them and their soccer teams to regional tournaments was great fun with great people. Rafting the Grand Canyon was one of the most magical things I have done and places I have been. Living each day fully and enjoying the expected and unexpected keeps me on my toes. Many silly tales of life way back to Holly Ridge Elementary school.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I was injured during a training accident at the US Air Force Academy. I ended up studying engineering / product design and started a company to manufacture adaptive ski equipment that I had designed in college. I never imagined that sit-skiing would become a Paralympic sport and allow me to race on the US Disabled Ski Team. I run Beneficial Designs, testing and designing adaptive equipment and writing accessibility standards for outdoor recreation. Ria and I are blessed to be part of a close and supportive church family at Grace Community Church here in Minden, NV. w/ Grace, Mercy and Peace

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I have been incredibly blessed by God in so many ways. I tell people I am the richest man in the world if you don't consider money. My beautiful wife of 30 years is my best friend and soul mate. We have four wonderful children who fill our lives with joy. After college and grad school, I settled in Dallas from 1981-2000. We have family and many friends from our wonderful time there. In 2000 we moved back to Denver and all 4 of our kids went to Cherry Creek High School. I can't imagine living anywhere else in the world as we love Colorado with the amazing family and friends that we enjoy here.

They played soccer and BB at CCHS, and who would believe a Girls 21 singer would have such athletic girls? I loved attending CU. I'm proud my Dad helped bring CO Rockies Baseball to CO as a founding owner. My husband and I relived our college days by traveling to Arizona and Penn State to participate in our daughters' college experiences. Enjoy the reunion, we will be in MI for the MI/Penn State game. Life is great!

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: One of my my most memorable experiences in my life was meeting and marrying my husband Bill. Though married prior for 23 year's, the last 12 have been the happiest most spiritual I have experienced in my entire life. On the flip side, I suffered a TBI from a fall in 2005. To summerize, my personality took a 180, my short term memory is like a pea, my long term somewhat better. Having an off sense of time is something you never get used to and my math is slow...many other things combined, having been an avid reader I no longer pick up a book. All my life good and bad have made up me.

Our kids are great (all grads of CCHS, except Hannah, who is a CCHS Senior this year). Many memorable life experiences; 2 things stick out at right now: holding my precious granddaughter for the 1st time nearly 8 years ago, & running down during a sudden hail storm after summiting Mt Bierstadt, with a tornado touching down next door on Mt Evans 2 years ago!

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: As I think about my high school experience, I am grateful for the flexibility we were given. I did so many things in addition to academics, sometimes to the detriment of my academics but life enriching all around. I remember a typical day having music in abundance, sewing experiments, friends out somewhere for lunch, studying at school (almost never at home) and many opportunities for choosing how to use my day. Of course I often chose badly but I guess I did choose well enough to learn something. I thought school was great and the trust they had in us was so brave; unusual today!

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: In August of 1979, I moved back to Grand Rapids, MI (which is where I had lived previous to Denver) to begin a job teaching. I met and married Tom and had 2 wonderful kids, that have brought me tremendous joy. After teaching 1st and 2nd grade for 31 years, I retired in June of 2012. While I do miss working with children, I don't miss what the profession has become. Both our kids live out of state, Brian is in Dallas working for a steel company that he has been with for 9 years. Kim is beginning her 3rd year as the Head Women's Golf Coach at Northern Illinois.

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I became a pediatrician in 1988. My first job was at Rose Hospital in the ER. In 1999, I joined Rocky Mountain Youth Clinics and have been there since. I learned about the inhumane and cruel treatment of dogs in puppy mills about 5 years ago. I met with other like-minded people and we formed Colorado Citizens for Canine Welfare . 3CW is a 501c3 non-profit and we work to educate people about the connection between puppy mills and the sales dogs in pet shops and from the internet. We believe that there are great dogs available for adoption & waiting for homes in shelters and from rescue groups.

We now live in a small town in Oregon, relatively close to our children and their spouses. I own a long-arm quilting business that's not too busy, just enough to fund my quilting hobby. Cary has recently retired, and we're looking forward to doing some RVing.

Realized I missed Denver when it was 92 degrees mid-DECEMBER! & I returned home to relieved parents and my trusty turtlenecks. Moira's brother introduced me to his best friend, now my best friend and husband. 7 years ago I fell in love with painting. So, taking my cue from Wall St.& Banking, ignoring all fiscal responsibility, I retired from a long career as a mortgage broker in order to paint full time...and it has been pure bliss!

Interests: Playing soccer, hunting and being a Colorado native and all those perks.
Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I've been in building materials supply since the 70's and have enjoyed working on the houses of the rich and famous. Lori and I raised our sons playing soccer and being active in a variety of activities; busy years indeed. We celebrated our 34th anniversary this year as one pair of many high school sweethearts of the class of '74. We stay in touch with several of our classmates and are looking forward to renewing old friendships!

Biography / Memorable Life Experiences: I haven't strayed far from Creek. All 4 of my sons are Creek graduates and Garrett is the JV baseball coach. Have lived in the area since I was married in 1975 and still keep close touch with my long time friends, Sheri Huttner, Wendy Friedman and Marla Ginsberg!
