SLONaša zgodba se je začela v letu 1987, ko je Franc Blažič ustanovil mizarsko delavnico za proizvodnjo pohištva. Ker je bil takratni trg zelo slabo oskrbovan z robnimi trakovi, je za lastne potrebe razvil inovativno napravo za razrez snopov in spajanje trakov furnirja. Leto pozneje je proizvodnjo razširil še z napravo za razrez melaminskih robnih trakov na različne širine. Delavnica ob družinski hiši je kmalu postala premajhna, zato je v letu 1997 sledil nakup poslovno-proizvodne stavbe od nekdanje Slovenske tiskarne. Po temeljiti obnovi stavbe se je v letu 1999 celotno poslovanje preselilo novo lokacijo, na Bravničarjevo 18 v Ljubljani. Z leti smo proda-jni program dopolnjevali in širili, najprej s pohištvenim okovjem in kovinsko galanterijo, nato s ploskovnim materialom in nazadnje še z lepili, površinskimi materiali in mizarskimi orodji.

ENGIt began in 1987, when Franc Blažič founded a small joinery to produce furniture. Since the market back then was poorly supplied with edge-bandings, he developed an in-novative machine for cutting sheaves and joining veneer tapes. A year later, Blažič expanded his innovations by inventing a machine for cutting melamine edge-bandings of different widths. Since the family workshop located next to the house in which they lived became too small, the change in core business was followed in 1997 by the purchase of business and manu-facturing facilities from a former Slovenian printing company. After thorough renova-tion of the purchased building in 1999, the complete business part was transferred to the new location at Bravničarjeva 18 in Ljubljana. Over the years, the sales program has been supplemented and expanded, first by the addition of furniture hardware and metal products, then by flat-surface materials and subsequently, also adhesives, surface materials and joinery tools.

DEUUnsere Geschichte beginnt im Jahre 1987, als Herr Franc Blažič eine Tischlerwerkstatt zur Möbelproduktion gründete. Da der dama-lige Markt sehr schlecht mit Kantenbänder versorgt war, entwickelte er für die eigenen Bedürfnisse eine innovative Anlage für den Zuschnitt von Bündeln und den Verbund von Furnierstreifen. Ein Jahr später erweiterte er die Herstellung noch um eine Anlage für den Zuschnitt von Melamin-Kantenbänder auf unterschiedliche Breiten. Bald wurde die Werkstatt neben dem Familienhaus zu klein; deshalb folgte im Jahre 1997 der Kauf eines Geschäfts- und Produktionsgebäudes von einer ehemaligen slowenischen Druckerei. Nach der gründlichen Erneuerung des Gebäudes zog im Jahre 1999 der gesamte Geschäftsbetrieb an den neuen Standort, in die Bravničarjeva ulica 18 in Ljubljana. Mit den Jahren wurde das Verkaufsprogramm ergänzt und erweitert, zuerst durch Möbelbeschläge und Metallkurzwaren, danach durch Flächen-werkstoffe und zuletzt noch durch Klebstoffe, Oberflächenwerkstoffe sowie Tischlerei-werkzeuge.

ENGWe have developed both wholesale and retail sales market networks. We have 5 points of sale of our own in Slovenia, and are gradually expanding our business activities by founding our own companies abroad. We have already established them in Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia. In terms of sales, we are also active on the Austrian, German, Belgian, English, Italian, Hungarian and Ukrainian markets. We collaborate with more than 3,500 sales partners, and have developed strategic partnerships with many of them in both development and sales.

DEUAuf den Märkten wurden sowohl ein Großhandels- als auch ein Einzelhandels-netz entwickelt. In Slowenien haben wir 5 eigene Verkaufsstellen, unsere Tätigkeit aber wird nach und nach auch mit der Gründung von eigenen Unternehmen im Ausland erweitert. Diese bestehen bereits in Kroatien, Bosnien und Herzegowina, Serbien, Montenegro und Mazedonien. Unsere Verkaufsaktivitäten erfolgen auch auf den Märkten von Österreich, Deutschland, Belgien, England, Italien, Ungarn und der Ukraine. Wir arbeiten mit mehr als 3.500 Vertriebspartnern zusammen, mit zahlreichen von ihnen wurden auch strategische Partnerschaf-ten entwickelt, sowohl im Bereich der Entwicklung als auch des Verkaufs.

ENGThe company’s rapid growth in terms of both markets and what we offer requires development in the area of knowledge as well as in the number of employees. Our company employs a total of 125 people, 90 of them working in Slovenia and 35 abroad. The number of employees has more than doubled over the last three years. We are a young and promising team, distinguished by extensive know-how and practical experience. Most of us are experts in the timber industry, rang-ing from joiners to university graduates in wood science and technology. Robni trakovi / Edge-bandings / KantenbänderSLOSodobno oblikovano pohištvo zahteva robni trak, ki ima poudarjene funkcionalne in estetske posebnosti. Ponujamo robne trakove iz furnirjev 50 drevesnih vrst in robne trakove ABS v 350 različicah različnih debelin in širin ter melaminske robne trakove v 150 različicah. V ponudbi so še ploskovni furnirji 40 drevesnih vrst. Za preprostejše iskanje in natančno izbiro ustreznega ABS-traku smo v letu 2010 razvili nov program Iskalnik ABS-trakov in ponudbo nadgradili z eno najsodobnejših in uporabnih spletnih aplikacij na trgu.

ENGFurniture of contemporary design requires edge-bandings with enhanced functional as well as aesthetic aspects. We offer edge-bandings made from veneer produced from 50 different tree species and ABS edge-bandings in 3500 pattern versions of varying thickness and width, as well as melamine edge-bandings in 150 patterns. Our offer also includes veneer sheets made from 40 different tree species. We developed a new programme in 2010 called ABS Edgeband Finder (Iskalnik ABS trakov) to enable simpler searching and precise selection of a suitable ABS tape, thus upgrading our offer with one of the most up-to-date and useful web ap-plications available on the market.

DEUModern gestaltete Möbel fordern Kanten-bänder mit Betonung sowohl auf der funk-tionellen als auch auf der ästhetischen Note. Wir bieten Kantenbänder aus Furnieren von 50 Baumarten und ABS-Kantenbänder in 350 Dekoren verschiedener Dicken und Breiten sowie Melamin-Kantenbänder in 150 Dekoren. Unser Angebot umfasst auch Flächenfurniere von 40 Baumarten. Zur einfacheren Suche und exakten Auswahl des geeigneten ABS-Streifens entwickelten wir im Jahre 2010 ein neues Programm, d.h. eine Suchmaschine von ABS-Streifen; dadurch wurde unser Angebot mit einer der modern-sten und praktischsten Webapplikationen am Markt aufgerüstet.

Kovinska galanterija / Metal products / MetallkurzwarenSLOPohištvene noge in podnožja ter kovinski nosilci in vezniki so nepogrešljivi sestavni del pohištvenega izdelka. ENGFurniture legs and bases, as well as metal support brackets and connec-tors, are indispensable elements of furniture. They are available in vari-ous sizes, types of surface treatment and colour shades. The programme is supplemented by accessories for desks, wardrobe stands, support brackets and metal vents. Most prod-ucts are the result of development carried out in collaboration with a Slovenian manufacturer.

DEUMöbelfüße und -sockel sowie Metallträger und -verbindungen sind ein unverzichtbarer Bestand-teil eines Möbelproduktes. Diese bieten wir in verschiedenen Dimen-sionen, Oberflächenbearbeitungen sowie Farbtönen an.
