Brooklyn Gilmore is a trained therapist, also working at a local clinic.

Our Story

Picture this: a young, urban couple living in Chicago. One is a sous chef, and the other a therapist. Living in a city that is full of great restaurants, they saw a need to have something different. As a therapist, Brooklyn also saw a great need for happiness, not only in her clients, but also in everyone’s life.

Blissful Bites reminds you how important being happy is, and their banana bread is the best in the city! ”“

My favorite part is getting an affirmation in my bag!

Blissful Bites is a mobile cafe located in Chicago, IL. We use the freshest, all natural ingredients in all of our tasty dishes. Blissful Bites also uses recyclable packaging, as well as bio-diesel fuel to reduce emissions.

Blissful Bites serves food that makes you happy!

The foods that you eat can greatly effect

your mood and how you feel physically. The

foods on our menu such as spinach, tofu,

oats, bananas, carrots and other foods, have

been proven to combat depression and

make you feel happier. Feeling down is some-

times a symptom of an iron deficiency. Lentils

(which are served in our Lovely Lentil Soup)

supply you with half of your daily iron needs

and as a result, make you feel more alert. The

spinach found in our spinach salad, is loaded

with folic acid, which is the body’s feel

good chemical.

Nuts are known powerfoods and are rich in

protein, minerals, and omega-3 fats. They also

have vitamin E, which is known to fight off stress.

In fact, walnuts have been proven to lift your

mood as well. Chocolate (which is featured

in our Chipper Chocolate Brownie), is high in

phenylalanine (PEA), and enhances endorphin

levels. Along with all of these tasty foods, it has

been proven that people who drink coffee with

milk everyday are less likely to suffer from depres-

sion. So when you visit our truck, you know you’ll

walk away happier than you came!

Happiness is underrated.
