Softball or Baseball? I sent out an email to all first hour teachers asking
them to take a poll of all the students asking how many girls and how many boys would play softball/baseball if offered here at Rock Port High School. Although there are some people who may have been sick or on work re-lease, it’s nearly impossible to ask everyone within the whole 7-12 grade. With the teachers who replied back and took the poll, we got that 29 girls would play softball if RPHS offered it, and 25 boys would play baseball.

{Winter Sports}
Winter sports are underway. If you haven’t had the chance to catch the Blue Jays in action, please join them for an event home or away or come to the school for a pep rally. Pictures clockwise from right: Ab-bie Hale, sophomore, cheers on the Jays. Junior Cortney LaHue looks for an open teammate. Junior Trenton Oswald works for a pin. Sophomores Caden Linthicum and Jase Hughes call out their guards on defense. Catyn Chamberlain entertains the student body with a dance team rou-tine at the pep rally December 11.

Reach for the stars. Friday, December 11, peer counselors in grades 7-12 attended a training session regarding drug abuse and addic-tion then finished the day practicing being good role models with preschool students. Brock Martin and Mercer Deatz help preschool students build a tower.
