EPX is our standard hand finished epoxy board construction resulting in superior quality, and a very affordable board.

Starting with a CAD designed, low density, stringer-less hand-finished EPS core. Epoxy resin lamination and painted with superior automotive grade paint. Finishing off with a hand sanded or gloss polish finish.

FEATURES:• Low density, CAD designed stringer-less machine cut and hand finished EPS core.

• Hand laminated with the finest epoxy resins and fiberglass cloth.


EPX-V CONSTRUCTION

Similar construction to our EPX build with the addition of a high density kiln dried bamboo veneer sheet. EPS core laminated with layers of fiberglass cloth, bamboo veneer with stunning graphics and automotive grade paint and polish. Some of our most attractive and popular boards are built in this construction. The Bamboo veneer adds both beauty and strength.

SDK CONSTRUCTION

Built better than your average soft board. This is Boardworks SOFTdeck construction used on our B-Ray, Squid and Jetty SUPs, as well as our popular Froth! surfboards.

FEATURES:• Full EVA wrapped deck and rails with an EVA traction pad inlays on SUP models.

• Forward deck plugs on SUPs.

• Slick Skin bottom on most models with an epoxy Hard bottom on a select few.

BOARDWORKS stepped into the inflatable game early on utilizing the best manufacturing techniques and materials including CAD designs, sonic welding and/or high end German glues and the best Korean drop stitch material available on the market today. Available in various thicknesses and designs, BOARDWORKS has the perfect inflatable stand up paddle board for you.

MCIT

Boardworks saw the need for a more rigid and stable inflatable stand up paddle board and created the Multi Camber Inflatable Technology.

Using a standing area made with a proven drop stitch yarn floor, and 500 denier PVC deck and bottom, coupled with tapered PVC side tubes, we have created a stand up paddle board that actually has “shape” in the rail profile. With this design we have created one of the most stable SUP’s on the market as we can keep a low center of gravity using a 4 to 5” standing area with a much larger outboard side rail diameter. This achieves incredible secondary stability. When the rail of the board tips from side to side the larger volume side rail is constantly coming back to a horizontal position.

BOARDWORKS POLY surfboards are built with the highest quality materials using traditional surfboard construction.

FEATURES:• Stringered polyurethane core. Computer designed, machine shaped, hand finished.

• Deck lamination is wet out with polyester resin with a layer of 6oz and a layer of 4 oz with full rail lap.

• Bottom lamination is also wet out with polyester resin.

• Longboards and mid size models have a layer of 6 oz. Shortboards under 7’ the bottom is a layer of 4 oz., both with full rail lap.

Inspired by Norm’s conservation efforts, BOARDWORKS has pledged $20 of the sale of each Great Bear board to be donated to StandUp4GreatBear, a non-profit organization that promotes awareness and encourages the protection of Great Bear Rainforest in British Columbia through “expeditions, partnerships and action.”

THE ISSUE: Enbridge Inc, a Calgary-based oil and gas company has proposed the construc-tion of a 1,170 km pipeline running from Alberta’s tar sands to Kitimat on British Columbia’s west coast. From here, crude oil would be loaded into super tankers bound for Asia. Before reaching the open ocean, these tankers would first need to pass through some of the most dangerous navigable waters in the world, the narrow inlets of the Great Bear Rainforest. If this happens, a devastating oil spill is inevitable that would wipe out one of the most pristine marine environments on the planet.

Our hope is not only to help protect the Great Bear Rainforest but to inspire people all over the world to take action to protect the waters that they paddle and love.
