•Established by the founder of GoDaddy.com and his wife, the Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation recently celebrated its second anniversary. During the celebration, the organization pledged to continue offering support to a wide range of charities focused on education, homelessness, health care, veterans' resources, and more. Since its inception, the foundation has donated more than $34 million to these causes. A majority of this funding has gone directly to organizations serving the greater Phoenix area.

•Bob and Renee Parsons have promised to pinpoint the causes that receive the least public support and bolster them through targeted grants in coming years. In 2013, the foundation made a number of gifts in excess of $1 million. The beneficiaries of these grants include the Muhammad Ali Parkinson’s Center, the Semper Fi Fund, the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS, and Make-A-Wish Arizona. Outside of the Phoenix area, the foundation offered funding to the University of Baltimore and Hope for Haiti.

•In December 2013, Bob and Renee Parsons publicly accepted an invitation to The Giving Pledge, a joint initiative pioneered by Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett that commits philanthropists to giving away at least half of their wealth to various charitable causes.
