Sheet C-504 has been amended to remove the word "wood" from the Sd1-S detail to indicate wood post for silt fence is not acceptable (replace Sheet C-504 with the attached C-504). 3. Sheet C-504 has been amended to add the text "Type C" to the Sd2-F detail to further describe the type of silt fence required for inlet protection. 4. References are not needed as a part of the bid package. 5. On Sheet E-501, change the 1-inch conduit and CAT 5E cable in between the new and existing RTUs to 3/4-inch conduit and CAT 6 cable. Questions received and response (in Italics): 1. Can concrete be used Instead of asphalt for paving? Provide asphalt for paving in accordance with detail G5b on sheet C-501. Note that the site currently features asphalt paving. 2. Is It acceptable If the exhaust silencer/muffler Is mounted vertically in a separate compartment from the engine? (2.09.C.1) If it’s a manufacturer's standard package offering, then it's likely acceptable. However, any deviations to the package configuration as designed will need to be evaluated during the submittal review process for final approval. 3. What size fuses and breakers should be supplied? (2.10.A.3) Based on the current (RTU) design, the fuses and breakers should be sized for 5A to provide adequate power for the PLC and cellular communications unit. 4. Will a dry contact for the valve position be supplied to the engine controller to communicate the valve position? If not, how will this be done? (2.14.C.2) No. Valve control is by the County's system; not by the pump controller. A permissive signal will be provided by the County's RTU; allowing the engine pump to run.

BOGAN ROAD BOOSTER STATION ENGINE PUMP ADDITION

ADDENDUM #01

Clarifications / additions to the bidding documents:

1. Add sheet C-102 (see attached).

2. Sheet C-504 has been amended to remove the word "wood" from the Sd1-S detail to indicate wood post

for silt fence is not acceptable (replace Sheet C-504 with the attached C-504).

5. Can the attached (Esterline Series 27) transmitter be used for control on the diesel drive pump instead of

the Rosemount 3051CG? I am concerned with how the Rosemount pressure transmitter will handle

natural voltage fluctuations of the diesel engine during startup and while running?

The Rosemount 3051CG is the County's standard instrument. It should be noted that the 4-20mA signal

to the pump controller is not directly sent from the PIT to the controller. This signal is transmitted to the

County's RTU. Signal is split and re-transmitted to the pump controller.

The sign in sheet for the Pre-Bid Conference held on February 21, 2019 at the Bogan Road Booster Pump

Station is attached.

This addendum should be acknowledged on the Bid Form, page 16 of the Bid Document. Failure to do so may

result in your bid being deemed non-responsive.

EROSION CONTROL NOTES:

1. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE APPROPRIATE EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL

MEASURES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUAL FOR EROSION AND SEDIMENT

CONTROL IN GEORGIA, 2016 EDITION (GEORGIA SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION

COMMISSION).

2. SILT FENCE TO BE INSTALLED IN ALL LOCATIONS DOWN GRADE FROM LAND

DISTURBING / TRENCHING ACTIVITIES.

3. SLOPE PROTECTION AND RESTORATION MEASURES SHALL BE IMPLEMENTED IN

AREAS DISTURBED BY THE CONTRACTOR.

4. CONTRACTOR SHALL PREVENT TRACKING OR FLOW OF MUD ONTO ROADWAYS. ALL

MATERIALS SPILLED, DROPPED, WASHED, OR TRACKED FROM VEHICLES OR SITE

ONTO ROADWAYS OR INTO STORM DRAINS MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY BY THE

CONTRACTOR.

5. THE ESCAPE OF SEDIMENT FROM THE SITE SHALL BE PREVENTED BY THE

INSTALLATION OF EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL MEASURES AND PRACTICES

PRIOR TO, OR CONCURRENT WITH, LAND DISTURBING ACTIVITIES.

6. EROSION CONTROL MEASURES WILL BE MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES. IF FULL

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE APPROVED PLAN DOES NOT PROVIDE FOR EFFECTIVE

EROSION CONTROL, ADDITIONAL EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL MEASURES

SHALL BE IMPLEMENTED TO CONTROL OR TREAT THE SEDIMENT SOURCE.

7. AT THE END OF EACH WORK DAY, THE SITE SHALL BE STABILIZED WITH MULCH AND
