CANTEEN ROSTER
The Canteen Volunteers Christmas Party was last Saturday. It was wonderful to be able to catch up with other volunteers and the meals were
delicious! Thanks to Mel for organizing a fantastic night!
Please be aware as the end of the school year approaches we be running low on stock of certain items particularly in the last week of school.
Thankyou in advance for your understanding in the up coming weeks
We still have a few more weeks of Canteen Year Hosting to go. If you missed your childs year hosting turn please feel free to come along any
day to help. We can’t emphasize enough what a difference it makes to the canteen by having extra sets of hands! And the kids get such a buzz
from seeing their loved ones at school.
Please find the week/s that are applicable to you and choose a day that suits you best so we can have lots of participation from each years
families. On lunch order days you will be working with our Canteen Co-ordinator Mel Caldwell who organises the day and ensures everything
runs smoothly. Our canteen is air-conditioned, lunch is provided and most importantly, your involvement directly helps your children.
Week starting –
28th November – Year 1 5th December – Kindergarten
The canteen is open from 8.45 am to 2.00pm, Monday, Wednesday & Friday (lunch order days) and 12.30pm to 2pm Tuesday & Thursday.
Any time is very much appreciated.
Volunteer notes for 2017 are going out now. We are hoping to have a yearly roster in place to plan out volunteers who are able to help
fortnightly/monthly/by the term. If you could please return completed forms to the canteen or office by the end of this term, so we can have the
roster ready for the start off the new school year.
As always Anzac bikkies are in hot hot hot demand! Donations of cooked bikkies are a great way to help, our school preferred recipe can be found on the school Facebook page and cooked bikkies can be accepted at either the canteen or the office.
FLEXISCHOOLS
If you have any queries regarding this process please phone Flexischools directly on 1300 361 769.
It is a legal requirement for all volunteers to fill and sign the Working with Children Check Form. It is also a requirement to pro-vide 100 point identification to accompany this form. Please attend the office to complete this form. If you need any more infor-mation please phone Melani or ask in the office. If you have already done your WWCC online, please give your number and D.O.B. to the office to verify.
ATTENDANCE AT SCHOOL
Regular attendance at school is important for students to be able to reach their potential. The school is required to record the reason for any absences. Students are only to be absent when they are sick or have another good reason for missing school. If your child is sick you can notify us via the Skoolbag App, telephone us, or send a note in when your child returns to school.
You can download the App on Apple or Android devices– simply visit your Apple Store or Google Play Store and search for “Bolwarra Skoolbag”.
