Booking online

Where do I start? Log-in to aa.com. Your AirPass number is associated with your AAdvantage® number so you will see an AirPass checkbox after log-in. Selecting AirPass ensures that you are in the AirPass booking path. You can book travel one way or round trip.

Travel is valid on flights marketed and operated by American. A seperate reservation must be created for non-AirPass travel like oneworld or dodeshare partner reservations.

If you have questions, please contact AirPass Customer Service at (800) 433-6355 (option 1) or [email protected] 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. CT, Monday – Friday.

For more information, please visit airpass.com.

Only available flights and cabins will be displayed to AirPass members. Pricing will not be shown.

The Economy, Premium Economy, Business and First class booking options all offer the same level of flexbility.

• No advance purchase requirement

• Books in full fare inventories (Y, W, J and F)

• No fees for changes or cancellations

The PlanAhead option is less flexible, but offers a discount of 25% off of the Economy rate.

• 7-day advance purchase requirement

• Books in a limited inventory (H)

• No fees for changes or cancellations

Your Trip Summary will confirm the cabin you booked and that your account won’t be charged until you actually fly.

Members are allowed one companion traveler, for a maximum of two travelers in an AirPass reservation.

If you are traveling with a companion, you’ll list them under Passenger 2.

Your AAdvantage number will show in both Frequent Flyer Number fields. This ensures that your companion will be charged the AirPass rate and that you’ll accrue the AAdvantage miles for their trip.

Main Cabin Extra and Preferred Seats are complimentary for AirPass members when traveling on an AirPass ticket.

While your trip is booked and shows as ticketed, ticketing for your AirPass travel won’t actually occur until 24 hours before your flight. If you book within 24 hours, you will be ticketed within the hour (up to 2 hours prior to travel).

Since the price is based on your contracted rates, your Trip Price will show $0 USD. You will never be asked for payment when booking an AirPass reservation.

Your AirPass reservations will show on the My Trips page and from there you can view or cancel.

Because your AirPass account isn’t charged until you fly, you can simply cancel and rebook your itinerary. No need to worry about reissues and refunds.
