Consisting of vineyards that have been in the family for over 100 years as well

as more recent plantings, Borra Vineyards is managed with an

uncompromising viticulture program. All grapes are carefully handpicked at just the right time for optimum tannin

and flavor development.

COLAVITA VINEYARDS Lodi AVA, Central Coast AVA

Our friend Mike Colavita provides us with some of our most interesting grape varietals. Most varietals are

sourced from District 11 known as the Lodi – Woodbridge – Linden Hills district, and from District 6 in the

Contra Costa County area. Pinot Noir comes from District 7, the Coastal

Region.

What started as a hobby in Fred and Lynn’s basement officially opened to the public as

Lynfred Winery in October 1979. Today Lynfred Winery is the oldest continuously operating

family winery in Illinois.

With over 300 rolling acres of vineyards in the Lake Michigan Shore AVA, Lemon Creek has

been growing grapes for Lynfred Winery for over 3 decades. The harsh Michigan winters are

perfect for making Lynfred Ice Wines.

JONES VINEYARDS Ancient Lakes AVA Wahluke Slope AVA

The Jones Family has a well-earned reputation for growing bountiful crops in the Quincy area and Columbia Basin,

and has been growing grapes for Lynfred for over a decade. With

vineyards located in the Ancient Lakes AVA, know for its unique soils,

elevations, and cooler climate, as well as vineyards located in the Wahluke

Slope AVA, one of the warmest grape growing regions in Washington, we’re able to work with a broad variety of

high-quality grapes.

Just 30 minutes southeast of Effingham in the small town of Newton, Illinois lies the family owned Correll Vineyards. Correll Vineyards is

perfect for Lynfred Winery; both are family owned and both reside in the great state of

Illinois.

KAMIAK VINEYARDS Pasco, WA

Columbia Valley AVA

Perched some 620 feet above sea-level along the Snake River lies Kamiak Vineyards. The vineyard has excellent air drainage and benefits

from the river’s moderating influence. Temperatures during the growing

season can fluctuate from 95 degrees Fahrenheit during the day to 55

degrees Fahrenheit at night, enabling the grapes to develop high acids and high sugar levels; perfect for making

Lynfred wines.

The success of Lynfred’s

2014 Carménère and 2015 Sauvignon Blanc, our first imported varieties, paved the way for a continued

partnership with growers in the Central Valley of Chile. Our winemakers, Andres

and Rodrigo, have taken full advantage of their cultural

roots to offer imported varietals with the versatility that only Chilean grapes can

offer.
