As we enter year three of our Five Year Plan, we continue to develop our strategic themes: place, profit, performance and people. I like to say that the biggest asset to the company is its people and Boshart has an excellent group of people working for and with us to achieve our goals.

Congratulations to Julie Storey, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing who is celebrating 25 years with Boshart Industries in June!

Boshart is excited to welcome Paul Hebert, Canadian Sales Manager and John Falconer, Technical Sales Engineer. These two individuals bring a wealth of knowledge and experience and will be key contributors towards helping the Company achieve its aggressive growth targets.

There were many examples of employees living the Boshart Experience shared in the last several months which highlights the outstanding efforts of our staff to ensure that the Boshart Experience is front and center. Customer experience, employee experience and business results all come together so that we can service our customers the best we can and continue to celebrate our successes together.

In our effort to promote the continued improvement of our people, the Executive team is participating in leadership training with Tim Windsor, and the Inside sales team participated in a number of Webinars around sales techniques and strategies.

The US Rep Meetings were held on April 10th – 12th in Chicago. Thirty-six Reps from twenty-two different Rep Agencies took the opportunity to participate and feedback from the meetings was very positive.

The renovations of the 35 Pacific Avenue building are nearing completion. Once the final touches are complete, the newly renovated space will be utilized by the Packaging and Yard Hydrant departments and will allow additional space for Injection Moulding and Quality Control departments as well as optimize product flow in the existing warehouse. The completion of the additional space will allow for the renovations on the second floor of 25 Whaley to proceed, providing some much needed additional office space.

Paul started on March 14th, 2016. He joins Boshart with a track record of success at EMCO and GSW (water heaters) before changing into the Fireplace Industry. Paul will manage our Canadian Sales Reps and will be an asset in growing profitability and opportunity.

John started on March 21, 2016. He comes to us from Preferred Pump with previous experience at Baker Manufacturing. John’s experience at Baker will help us grow the Industrial Pitless line and he will work at getting our products specified, do internal / external product training and produce presentations to help our sales force grow the business.

The Boshart Rec Committee used their creativity to host the first ever St. Eastrick’s Day at Boshart Industries on March 22nd 2016!
