Words you need to know…Credit---Official certification that a student has completed a

course. At BGHS, we have whole (1) credit courses and half (1/2) credit courses.

Semester---One of the two divisions of an academic year. 1st semester--the start of school to winter break (August – December).

2nd semester--after winter break until the end of the year (January – May)
