Silent Auction Rules

Before placing any Bids, you must register your name, complete address, and phone number on the AUCTION REGISTER. Please print neatly.

Use the number corresponding to your name for making any BID.

Write your BID NUMBER and the amount of your BID on the BID SHEET. All Auction items will have a Bid sheet.

All items show a minimum bid. The starting bid must not be lower than this amount. Bids will be made in WHOLE DOLLAR AMOUNTS ONLY.

You may bid on as many items as you wish, and as often as you wish.

Each new bid must be written on the next blank line.

The person with the HIGHEST bid will receive that item, or a certificate good for an exchange of item, upon payment.

In the event of a dispute, an Auction Official shall act as the final authority and shall determine the winning bidder. A one-time, blind bid offer may be submitted by challenging parties, with the item going to highest bidder. The official's decision will be final.

In the event that an item is involved in a bid war, the decision will be made by secret bid. Bidders will have the opportunity to write their last bid on a separate bid sheet and submit to the auction judge, who will review of all secret bids. Highest bid will receive the item. Posting of possible items made as needed.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MAY THE BID SHEET OF AN AUCTION ITEM BE REMOVED FROM THE BIDDING TABLE. (Except under the direction of the Auction Officials.)

ABSOLUTELY NO BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE TABLES CLOSE.

Payment by the successful bidder will be made at the cashier’s table. Payment in full is mandatory.
