• Bradford’s workforce is growing, the working age population has grown by 9,000 since 2000, a rise of 3.3%, the fastest growth of any major city in the UK outside London.

•  4.3 million people live within a 60 minute drive-time of Bradford city centre

• Unemployment is falling at more than twice the regional and national rates.

• More than 30,000 jobs have been filled in the past year.

• Bradford attracts more than 11 million visitors a year – worth £408 million to the local economy.

• National Museum of Photography, Film and Television - the most visited museum outside London, the Bronte Parsonage at Haworth and Saltaire.

• £1.5 billion of investment is currently planned for Bradford including a £400 million redevelopment of the city centre and £110 million redevelopment of Lister Mills, once the largest silk mill in the world.
