Appearance : Scoring marks on Rotor braking surface. Cause : External debris caught in between rotor and brake pad lead to rotor score & highly abrasive pads. Effect : Judder, Vibration or Squeal noise during braking and impact on brake pad life. Remedy : Replace the rotor and brake pad kit.

Heat mark on Rotor

Appearance : Heat marks (Discolouration / Glazing) on friction contact area. Cause : Local Thermal stress due to intermittent cooling. Effect : Poor brake performance & Judder. Remedy : Replace the rotor and brake pad kit.

Worn-out Rotor
