HOW EAP RESULTS FROM LAST SPRING'S CAASSP AFFECT PLACEMENT
IN COLLEGE-LEVEL ENGLISH/MATH
• EAP was developed by CSU with CDE and is accepted at CCC and CSU.
• Students who achieve level 3 or 4 on CAASPP are classified as “conditionally ready” or “ready” for college level coursework in ELA and math.
• “Ready” = exempt from CSU placement exam requirement; “Conditionally Ready” = exempt from CSU placement exam if achieves ‘C’ or higher in ERWC as senior
UC ELIGIBILITY INDEXStatewide Context
If you're in the top 9 percent of California high school graduates and aren't admitted to any of the UC campuses you apply to, you'll be offered a spot at another campus if space is available.
