TITLE I PARENT MEETING
There will be a Title I parent meeting on October 23, from 5:30-6:30 pm. This will be an informa-tional meeting for students who are receiving Title 1 services. You will receive a letter in the mail if your child is receiving Title 1 services. Please send the RSVP form back to the office if you plan on attending.
PICTURE RETAKES
OCTOBER 18TH
School picture retakes have been scheduled for
Wednesday, October 18th. Students wanting re-takes should notify Mrs. Andrews in the office as soon as possible. Students must bring the entire picture package back with them on retake day.
KIWANIS HALLOWEEN
PARTY Children (from birth to fifth grade) are invited to wear their favorite Hal-loween costumes to the annual Kiwanis Halloween Party and cos-tume Contest on Tuesday, October 24, at the Bremen Elementary-Middle School. Carnival-style games begin at 6:30 p.m. in the gym, fol-lowed by a costume contest at 6:45, also in the gym. Refreshments will be available across the hall in the K-8 cafeteria. Don’t miss this FREE, family-friendly way to celebrate fall!

Bremen Elementary-Middle School, in conjunction with the REC Foundation, invites all girls K-12 to our girl Powered event on October 11, 2017, which coin-cides with the International Day of the Girl. The REC Foundation launched Girl
Powered, in collaboration with VEX Robotics, Inc., to double the number of girls on robotics teams over the next 5 years. To achieve this ambitious goal we have partnered to offer events around the country to engage more girls in STEM and robotics. NEW BOYS BASKETBALL LEAGUE STARTING
There will be a boys basketball league for 3rd-6th graders start-ing in January 2018. The plan is to have two age groups, 3rd/4th combined, and 5th/6th com-bined. We will practice and play on Saturday afternoons, tenta-tively starting on January 13th and running for 5 consecutive weeks. The league will be orga-nized by the high school coach-ing staff. Hand-outs with addi-tional information on how to sign up will be provided to stu-dents at school within the next week.
CODING CLUB UPDATE Coding Club will not meet on Oc-tober 11th (due to the Girl Power Event) and October 25th (due to Parent Teacher Conferences).

Marshall County goes Green! Join us on October 21st as we kick off the new enrollment year with a Color Me Green 4-H 5K and mini dash in Plymouth! Get ready for a fun new year in the 4-H program! Walkers and runners of all age groups welcome! Bring the whole family to get splashed with color as you participate!
Entry Fees: Individual Pre-Registration – Adult: $15 and Youth $10 by September 15th Individual Regular Registration – Adult $20 and Youth $15 after September
15th Mini Dash – All Mini Dash participants are free (must be 7 and under)
Prizes: There will be 4 groups for awards - 19 & over Male, 19 & over Fe-male, 18 & under Male, 18 & under Female. Plus a team award, bring the larg-est group and you could win the team division! Each group breakdown will have 3 divisions. 1D WINNER = Fastest time 2D WINNER = Fastest time plus 15 minutes 3D WINNER = Fastest time plus 30 minutes
