We return to the wonderfully located Pestana Bay Hotel for another bridgeholiday in 2016. We originally planned to run a bridge holiday here every otheryear, but we have had such a fantastic response from our guests who went onour 2015 holiday to Madeira, and already have requests from guests to goback - so we have included it again in our 2016 programme!

Our guests enjoyed wonderful sunny weather every day last November, andfound the all-inclusive package excellent value for money. Andrew Kambites,as always is thrilled to return to his favorite island, and be accompanied byMaggie and Barry Watts as bridge hosts.”

For those who prefer the beach, there is direct access to Praia Formosa, amagnificent beach with volcanic rocks overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, andEurope’s highest sea cliff, the Cape Girao.

If you can tear yourself away from the array of facilities and exciting bridgesessions in the hotel then take a few trips into the capital Funchal on the hotelshuttle bus. Lose yourself amongst the colourful market stalls and shops inthe cobbled alleyways, and sip Madeira wine al fresco in the old town. Not tobe missed is a trip on the cable car to the top to the white washed village ofMonte where you will find famous botanical gardens, and if you are braveenough you can descend the mountain by toboggan as the locals do!
