Jenny’s work tends to exist within the public sphere, normally working with “young and talented invididuals” to get the results she wants in a professional context. In her own words, Jenny describes her work as subtle, mysterious yet straightforward. I wanted to capitalise on this by producing a set of deliverables that reflected this. She also wanted a lookbook that was unconventional, business cards, a mailout and a cv that could be reproduced by herself when handed over. AUDIENCE Potential employers, professional photographers, artists, networking potential, end of year show attendees and the general public. CONCEPT

To come up with a logo and identity for the photographer Jenny Sneap.

AUDIENCE

Potential employers, professional photographers, artists, networking potential, end of year show attendees and the general public.

TONE

Bold, striking, alternative, professional, slick, minimal.

PRODUCT 01

The logo came from a range of simple vector illustrations at the request of Jenny. She wanted a bespoke finish to be printed on her final business cards, we went through her options and we both agreed on spot varnish/uv finishes for the entirety of the project, as it would tie in with her concept and would provide both of us with the professional looking deliverables for our respective portfolios. I used the design and applied it to a letterhead to see how it would work, I then foiled the letterhead, keeping it at A$ makes it easier for Jenny to reproduce herself.

PRODUCT 02 (PROMOTION)

Basically, Jenny suggested that I could extend the brief by creating a mailout that could be used for self-promotion or for sending her clients something as a means of a thank you.

The mailout was intended to be relatively small to be able to be printed on a local printer, tying in with the idea she could reproduce these herself.

The CV and compliment slip adhere to postcard size format to ensure they would all fit in the envelope.

PRODUCT 03 (LOOKBOOK)

The lookbook had to be able to house Jenny’s prints from her portfolio, and function as one itself. I wanted it to look professional as possible, so I outsourced it’s production to local bookbinders, Spink & Thackray.

The prints are postcard size and have images from her portfolio, with a divider on the back in true postcard style.

The overall look of the product had to be in uniform with the original identity and print finish.
