In August 2001 the DG appointed the Chief Director:Corporate Services as the National Employment Equity Manager for the Department. A national committee comprising of all other Chief Directors and Senior Managers from Transformation and HR was established. This committee held its first meeting in September 2001.This committee discussed and approved terms of reference in line with its mandate
