Brightspace Dropbox to Turnitin Integration procedure

Step 1: Choose Dropbox from the Assessments

menu.

Step 2: Select Edit Folder from the drop-

down menu.

To use a new dropbox, simply click the New Folder from the Dropbox Folders and then follow the steps below to connect the folder to TurnItIn.

Step 3: Select the

Turnitin® tab

Step 4: Click Enable Turnitin for this

folder. This contacts Turnitin to

setup up the link automatically. This may take a minute.

Step 5: Set your Display and Frequency

options and the date when your students

will see their feedback from Turnitin.

Step 6: Select the More Options in Turnitin.

Step 7: Complete

your responses for

the questions.

Step 8: Click Optional settings to complete your setup. As was the case with the previous Content

integration, if you don’t know what these options will allow, click the blue? in front of each item for an

explanation of its purpose

FINAL NOTES:

Because Dropboxes are grade-able items, you can now grade papers that have been submitted to the dropbox and reviewed by TurnItIn.

Training is available for individuals and departments upon request. There will also be a full session during the 5/18-20th Duty Days.
