Summer is setting (more on that in moment), our summer worship schedule ends, and this Sunday we return to two services (9 a.m. and 11 a.m.). Noah Burnett and friends join with Debbies steady guidance to present our new praise band at first service, alongside some more interactive worship elements. For second service, choir returns, we have special music from Mary Margaret Dale, and we join together in Communion at both services. Also, ChildrenMinistry is expanding its offerings by starting classes at 9:20 and continuing until 10:45. Adults and teens are invited to join in a conversation at 10 a.m. about the Parable of the Good Samaritan. It will be a joyous morning, and if you are able, please plan to join in BOTH services to support the growth of each! Then in the afternoon of Rally Sunday, at 3 p.m., we are hosting an On Broadwaymusicale celebration called Summerset on Broadway. Come enjoy talented singers and musicians from out of town and from within our own congregation presenting a variety of musical styles. Bring a friend, or five, to this special event that will serve as an exclamation point to a great Rally Sunday. As fall progress, stay tuned for another Next Steps brunch, receiving of new members, Trails End Sunday, and a fall church cook-out and barn dance. Its a great time to BE ALL IN! See you in worship! This Sunday is Rally Sunday when we rally everyone together again for

our fall worship and programming season. Summer is setting (more on

that in moment), our summer worship schedule ends, and this Sunday we

return to two services (9 a.m. and 11 a.m.). Noah Burnett and friends join

with Debbie’s steady guidance to present our new praise band at first

service, alongside some more interactive worship elements. For second service, choir returns, we

have special music from Mary Margaret Dale, and we join together in Communion at both services.

Also, Children’ Ministry is expanding its offerings by starting

classes at 9:20 and continuing until 10:45. Adults and teens are

about the Parable of the Good Samaritan. It

will be a joyous morning, and if you are able,

please plan to join in BOTH services to

support the growth of each!

Then in the afternoon of Rally Sunday, at

3 p.m., we are hosting an “On Broadway” musicale celebration called

Summerset on Broadway. Come enjoy talented singers and musicians

from out of town and from within our own congregation presenting a variety of

musical styles. Bring a friend, or five, to this special

event that will serve as an exclamation point to a

great Rally Sunday.

As fall progress, stay tuned for another Next Steps brunch, receiving of

new members, Trail’s End Sunday, and a fall church cook-out and barn

dance. It’s a great time to BE ALL IN!

See you in worship!

then ice buckets and the armor of God, and then a screening of “God’s Not Dead”! So great to

be in conversation with so many super teens along with Chris Robinson, Kathy Hiatt, and

Chris Hughes and Pastor Rob. Help us spread the word. All teens are welcome!

Page 3 Wednesday Night Dinners will resume THIS WEDNESDAY, September 10, at 5:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Plan now to come and visit with the good people who attend WND, and enjoy a good meal, including a salad bar that rivals any found in the area. Enjoy a good meal at an affordable price (donation), and great conversation with friendly people. Sign up on the clipboard or call the church office so we have an idea how many to prepare for. Invite a friend or two to join you. We hope to have good attendance this season.

Presbyterian Women Fall Gathering on October 4, will be hosted by our BPC Women ’s Association. We’ll be gathering to do what Presbyterian Women have done for decades: Mission. The gathering will include informational presentations, music and worship, fellowship, and lunch. Even though we’re hosting, registration forms need to be completed for each woman to attend. Hands-on mission project needs: Adult Large (or larger) clean t-shirts, and fabric for sewing projects are requested. Registration forms are available in the church office and will give a count for lunch preparation catered by the PW presbytery board; cost is $10 payable at the door.

Have you scaled THE WALL? Broken through it? Or are you adding bricks to it, making

it that much more sturdy? More to come...
