The most common halogen spots have a build-in aperture of 75 mm and a front ring of ø82mm. The Fluxe HV - 9W downlight is based on the same aperture size and has a slightly larger front ring of 90mm, so there is no visible damage to the ceiling when replacing the old spots. By replacing your halogen spots with these LED spots you earn your investment back (with normal use) within 2 years. Besides that, you spare the environment.

Tests have proven that the diffuser stops merely 8% of the light from the LEDs. The diffuser makes sure that the LEDs are hidden from view and create a really lovely, even light distribution in the room. The front side is splashproof so it can come into contact with water and moisture, for example in a shower cabin.

The Fluxe 75 HV - 9W downlight is fitted with high-quality AC LEDs, which means it can be connected directly to the mains and needs no switching power supply. In combination with the new Plug & Play system (fits on GST18) this ensures a fast and reliable installation. Humming power supplies and poor contacts as you know them from halogen products are thus a thing of the past.3 years guarantee.

People sometimes claim that LEDs last 50,000 or even 100,000 hours, but LEDs in particular (like a processor in your computer) quickly heat up, so they have to be kept at temperature by a heatsink. If you buy an LED built-in spot, you naturally want to be sure that you won’t have to replace it in a couple of years’ time.With individual LED bulbs that might be possible, but with fully integrated LED fittings you might have a problem.The specially developed heatsink of the Fluxe 75 spot is so big that it easily keeps the temperature of the LED at an acceptable level.In the table below, you’ll see that our developers have stuck nicely to the specification of the LED manufacturer.The lifetime information of the LED manufacturer is based on the stringent American Energy Star standard.That Energy Star standard is also a guarantee that the warm white colour of the LEDs is assured across the entire lifetime too..

If you want to connect multiple spots in one line, you can make use of multiple extension cords one after the other. The last piece of the extension cord fits into the spot.Maximum 1000w at 100 metres.
