    ClimateThe climate of Nepal varies from area to area

    depending on the altitude of the place. Visiting to

    Nepal, the land of lord Pashupatinath and the birth-

    place of lord Buddha, is a sovereign slopes of the mid

    Highlights of Kathmandu ValleyThe beautiful Kathmandu Valley, surrounded by green

    The valley is the home of three cities, Kathmandu,

    MANASLUThis trek falls in Gorkha district was officially opened

    for foreigner in 1991, but mountaineering expeditions

    have long had access to the area. In 1950 a party led

    by H W Tilman trekked from Thonje to Bimtang and

    Colonel Jimmy Roberts crossed the Larkya La looking

    for an interesting mountain to climb. Manaslu (8156meters) was attempted by Japanese expeditions every

    year from 1952 until 1956, when the first ascent

    was made. Having become known as a Japanese

    mountain, much of the information about the area was

    available only in Japanese. The Japanese continued

    to dominate the climbing scene on Manaslu until

    1971.

    LANGTANG REGION

    Langtang National Park , located the CentralHimalaya of Nepal is 32 km north of Kathmandu.

    The Langtang trek brings you to the Langtang Valley

    surrounded by Himalayan Peaks. Langtang Lirung-

    7240m and Ganesh Himal are the highest in the

    region. Trek to the sacred Lake of Gosainkunda, climb

    the Gosainkunda pass into the Valley of Helambu.

    Food and Beverage

    Our well-trained cooks from the Hotel Management

    and Tourism Training Centre (HMTTC) are always

    aware of cooking the varieties of hygienic food to

    avoid such above-mentioned problems. We serve

    vegetarian meal to our Indian fellow travelers besides

    this we would recommend them to bring their own

    supplement of the food like dry fruits, nuts, chocolates,

    and cookies for their personal interests.

    Equipments

    We always supply best quality equipment to our

    clients as our tents are made of heavily coated

    water proof fabric and inner fly sheet are made

    of excellent quality of cottons while for the floor

    we use 100% water proof nylon tarpaulin. The

    poles of the tents are made of strong aluminums.

    Even if each capacity of the tents is normally

    3 persons but we allow for 2 persons to ease

    and comfort our clients. We are providing our

    high quality sleeping bags and mattresses with acapacity of 20 Degree Celsius.

    Important Pre-departure Information

    We have been traveling in the most remote

    parts of the world since long time. During most

    of the time we will be away from the modern

    civilization society of Nepal. No doubt the

    group will overnight stay either in a guesthouses

    or in the treks-styled tented camp. We must be

    well equipped. The dinning tent is no doubt ourmeeting place and a toilet and shower tent will

    be pitched near by. Every mornings bed tea is

    served by kitchen boy should construed clients as

    wake up calls. Breakfast will be served in the dinning

    tent and during the day packed lunch is served. Our

    usual time for the bed tea will be at 7 a.m. break fast

    8 a.m. then our Sherpa staff will dismantle the tents

    in order to pack up the equipment. Pack lunch will be

    served around 1 or 2 p.m. then in the evening 6 p.m.will be the teatime and dinner around 8 p.m. This

    time will be definitely local time (Chinese Time).

    PLACES OF INTERESTPARO, the gateway to Bhutan, provides incomparable

    experiences. Bhutans national museum, the Ta Dzon,

    the fortress of the Drukpas, the Paro Dzon fort,

    Drukyel Dzon, Taktsang Lhakhang Temple, also called

    the tigers lair as it clings to a black cliff, and kyichu

    Lhakhang, built in A.D. 638 by king Songtsen Gampoare places of historical and cultural interest. Thimpu,

    the capital of Bhutan, abounds with rich traditional

    architecture. A tour will take you to the Memorial

    chorten built in memory of king Jigme Dorje, the

    Tashichoe Dzon, and fortress of auspicious religions,

    Janglimithnag, changankha Lhakhang, Simtikha Dzon,

    and Motothang, the pearl meadows.

    Punakha was the old winter capital of Bhutan until1

    1950. The high pass of Dochu-La at 3,050 meters,divides Thimpu from the Punakha valley. This point

    offers spectacular mountain view of the eastern

    Himalayas including Ganghar Punsum, 7,497m { the

    highest peak of Bhutan}. Mt. Chomolhari, 7,219 m

    is especially stunning as it provides a backdrop at the

    frontier with Tibet. You will visit Punakha Dzong built

    in 1637 by Shabdurng Ngawang Namgyel.

    Wangdi Phodrang is a town 71 kilometers away from

    Thimpu. The drive through the picturesque village of

    Rinchengang will provide an opportunity to observe

    the lifestyle of the local people, who are known to

    be excellent stonemasons. Their houses were built

    remarkably and attached to one another.

    When you arrive at Mendigangs Hilltop Resort for

    an overnight stop, you will see Ghantey Gompa

    on top of the Black Mountains. The Gompa is the

    biggest monastery of the Nyingmapa sect in Bhutan.

    It overlooks the Phobjika Valley, a popular resting site

    for the migratory black necked crane.

    Tongsa is approached from here through the pele-sa

    pass at 3,300 meters. You will see rhododendron

    and magnolia flowers in full bloom during the spring

    season and Mount Chomolhari in the background. You

    will also visit the Tongsa Dzong, founded in 1543,

    an architectural masterpiece with amaze of courtyards

    and many temples.
