Bronco Times [BMS site] [BMS PTSA site] [Attendance] Greetings, Just a few reminders as we work our way through March and prepare for 4 th quarter. First, I urge you to check Power School weekly to verify that your Bronco is completing all of his/her assignments, projects, and tests. This is the time of year that kids get a little slack with their school work as we near spring break and the weather starts to change. Second, I would ask that parents remind students of our technology policy. All cell phones, smart watches, and wireless ear pods must be off and out of sight until students physically leave the building (standing in the car rider line or on the bus). Finally, our PTSA nomination committee is looking for some parents to take over a number of roles next year. We have a large amount of our PTSA Board and Committee Chair positions open due to 8 th grade parents moving on to Hough. Information on how to contact the nominating committee is listed a section below. CMS has an early release day next Wednesday, March 13. Students will be dismissed at 1:15 pm so buses will run three hours early and car riders should be picked up at 1:15 pm. Greetings,

Just a few reminders as we work our way through March and prepare for 4th quarter. First, I urge you to check Power School weekly to verify that your Bronco is completing all of his/her assignments, projects, and tests. This is the time of year that kids get a little slack with their school work as we near spring break and the weather starts to

change. We have a large amount of our PTSA Board and Committee Chair positions open due to 8th grade parents moving on to Hough. Information on how to contact the nominating committee is listed a section below. CMS has an early release day next Wednesday, March 13. Students will be dismissed at 1:15 pm so buses will run three hours early and car riders should be picked up at 1:15 pm. Congratulations to Tara Penman for being recognized as honorable mention out of over 1200 submissions for the CMS Do The Right Thing writing contest. She received her award at the district ceremony on Monday at the Charlotte Police and Fire Academy. Create a Great Day, Chad O. Thomas Principal
