8. Evaluation Scheme & Details of Evaluation process:

A. The student's performance in each theory course is evaluated for a maximum of 100 marks of which 40 marks for in-semester assessment (consisting of Assignments and Quizzes) and 60 marks for the mid and final term examinations.

B. There will be two assignment and two quizzes. For post graduation the second assignment will be Presentation.

C. The normal assignment weightage for each assessment component in a particular course is as follows:

1. Attendance 10 %2. Assignments 20 %3. Quizzes 10 %4. Mid semester exams 20 %5. Final exam 40 %

Total 100 %

** The mandatory requirement of 75% attendance in all theory classes is to be met for being eligible to appear in the examination.
