LET’S DO ANOTHER ONE STEP BY STEP
On the
Environment tab,
History tab at the
bottom, open the
User Task Logging icon.
LET’S DO ANOTHER ONE STEP BY STEP
From the menu
bar, choose
Customize then
Cards…
LET’S DO ANOTHER ONE STEP BY STEP
Select (new) at
the top. Click on
the New button.

Click on Graph
card. Click the
Continue button.

Enter the name User Applications Graph. Select the Graph type of Horizontal Bar. Change the Contents to Users Application Task Logging. Lastly create a sort called Total Year Descending and use it. Click on the Sample tab.

Add the Total year
attribute. Be sure
to choose the one
from the User
Application Task Logging not the
User Task Logging.
Click on the
Options tab.

Choose Right for
the Legend
position.
Click on the Labels
tab.

Select Outside bar
for the Value
labels.
Click on the Save
button.

Let’s create our
Compound card
so we can check
our work.
Select new and
Click on the New
button.

Compound Card and then the
Continue button.

Enter the name
User Dashboard.
Select Section 1
and Click on the
Change button.

Click on Include
cards and select the
User Applications
Graph.
Click the Continue
button.

Repeat the previous for Section 2 for now.
Click on the Savebutton and then the Continue button.
Now we will put the card in a card file. Select Customizefrom the menu bar then Card Files.

Select (new) and
then click on the
New button.

Enter the name User Dashboard.
Find the User Dashboard card on the left and click the Add card button.
Click the Savebutton.
Click the Continuebutton.

Now double click
do display a record.
Then select the User
Dashboard card file.
Your card should
look something like
this.
Click Continue.

Now we need to finish by creating two more graph cards and a list card.
Click on Customizethen Cards.
Then select (new) and click on the Newbutton.
Choose Graph card.
Click on Continue.

Enter the name User Menu Options Graph.
Select the Graph type of Horizontal Bar.
Change the contents to User Menu Options Task Logging.
Create a sort called Year Descending for the Menu Option Used Count year and use it.
Click on the Sample tab.

Add the attribute
Menu Option Used
Count Year from
User Menu Option Task Logging.
Click on the Options
tab.

Select Right for the
Legend position.
Click on the Labels
tab.

Select Outside bar
for the Value labels.
Click Save.

Add this graph to section to of the User Dashboard compound card.
Display it to check your work. It should look similar to this screen.
Click Continue.

Now we only have one graph card and one list card remaining.
Click on Customizethen Cards.
Then select (new) and click on the Newbutton.
Choose Graph card.
Click on Continue.

Enter the name User Menu Options History Graph.
Select the Graph type of Line.
Change the Contents to User Menu Options Task Logging.
Select the Year Descending sort.
Click on the Sample tab.

Add the attributes
as shown. Shorten
the labels to Year,
90 days, etc.
Click on the Labels
tab.

Set the Sample labels
and Value labels to
On.
Click Save.

Add this graph
to section 3 of
the User
Dashboard compound card
and display it to
check your work.
Click Continue.

One more to go. Let’s get started on our list card. Click on Customize then Cards.
Then select (new) and click on the New button.
Choose List card.
Click on Continue.

Enter the name User Menu
Options Tasks. Create a
List view that contains the
menu option last used date
and the description.
Shorten the column
heading to Last Used.
Create a sort by menu
option Last Used Date
Descending.
Click on Save.

Add this card to
the User
Dashboard
compound card.
Give the History
card 75% of the
width.
Your results should
look similar to this.
