Hisarya is a town of health.We use the water from the hot springs for drinking and treatment.

The resort of Hisarya provides excellent opportunity for national and international meetings and sympasia on the health problems.

In 2012 Hisarya became a SPA destination in the Balkan peninsula.

There are two hotels which have prizes for SPA hotels in the Balkan peninsula – Hissar hotel in 2010 and Central hotel in 2011.

A lot of people visit our town. Some of them come to see its scenery.

Others come because of its magical healing springs.The resort of Hisarya is a paradise for the tourists.

It offers them fresh air and wonderful parks.

Hisarya was famous in the past too. It has got a rich history. Its ancient names were Augusta,Diocletianopolis,Sevtopolis,Alekssiopolis and Toplica.

Nowadays we can see a lot of interestingbuildings, places and things from this glorious

time.

For example:The high fortress which surrounds the town:

A Roman public building, a Roman amphetheatre.

A Roman tomb

and Roman thermae from the 4th century.

Hisarya is a splendid town.If you visit this fantastic place even once you will love it forever.
