A WORD FROM THE DIRECTOR I have been Acting Director of the Institute since November, 2007, and Director since July 1, 2008. In that time, we have accomplished a number of beneLicial changes institutionally: A restructuring of staff responsibilities and reallocation of ofLice space, whereby our secretary, Barbara Gardner, fulLills her duties in Goodbody 144, the anteroom of the library, and keeps the facility open Monday‐Friday from 8:00 a.m.‐5:00 p.m. Our two graduate assistants, Leland Rogers and David Straub, are busy cleaning out and reorganizing Goodbody 345 which will serve as their ofLice, the microform reading room, as well as storage for microforms, library duplicates, and new books awaiting cataloguing.
