INTRODUCCION

El Burj Dubai es un rascacielos actualmente en construcción situado en la ciudad de Dubai, en los Emiratos Árabes Unidos, el cual, al concluirse, será nombrado el edificio y la estructura más alta jamás construida por la humanidad, ya que romperá ambas marcas.Edificio más alto desde el suelo hasta la "aguja": (Taipei 101 - 509) un total de 818 metros componiendo 205 plantas. Su diseñador y creador fue el arquitecto mexicoamericano Adrian D. Smith

El concepto estructural está basado en la forma geométrica de una flor, la Hymenocallis.Se compone de una base con 3 alas, las cuales ascienden, distinta altura y van haciendo que la estructura del edificio se vaya siendo más pequeña.Cuenta con 6 PISOS TECNICOS en donde se sitúa la maquinaria que regirá los sistemas del edificioLas alas se hacen más pequeñas para que al final puedan tener un área pequeña y termine el edificio en la antena

El nuevo rascacielos iba a terminarse hacia finales de año 2008 por cuestiones de retraso, se prevé inaugurarlo en junio de 2009.Los detalles de la estructura como su altura exacta se mantienen en secreto.Para confundir a la competencia, se realizan varios dibujos con distintas proporciones y alturas del Burj Dubai

Contará con un lago artificial

Los elevadores panorámicos que tendrá el Burj Dubai se trasladarán a 10 metros/segundo es decir a unos 600 metros/minuto. Los elevadores interiores que tendra el Burj Dubai se trasladarán a 18 metros/segundo es decir a unos 1.080 metros/minuto La luz de la antena del Burj Dubai podrá ser vista a 95 kilómetros a la redonda.

La cantidad de paneles de vidrios que se van a incorporar lograrían tapizar hasta 17 estadios de fútbol aproximadamente.

La cantidad de electricidad que podría emplear equivale a tener encendidos unos 360.000 focos de 100 watios al mismo tiempo. El Burj Dubai necesitará unos 946.000 litros de agua diarios para su sistema de abastecimiento de agua.

CÓMO SE UTILIZAN LAS GRÚAS DE TORRE?

Para proyectos muy grandes, son necesarias una gran cantidad de grúas móviles, como grúas torre.

Una vez que la grúa torre está construida, la industria de grúas comienza a mostrar su plena capacidad.

La grúa torre es generalmente equipado con un bloque de cemento o materiales similares de contrapeso en la "parte final" de la grúa, mientras que la pluma principal oscila a lo largo de

la obra, con mucho alcance y movimiento de la parte más pesada como las vigas y Materiales de construcción en cualquier

lugar que son requeridos.

El montaje y desmontaje son quizás las partes

más difíciles y peligrosas de todos los

procesos que se relacionan con este tipo

de equipos ya que el mínimo error de cualquiera de sus

La grúa está montada. Su uso será para las labores de fachada, y se desmontará al menos una de las grúas de la parte superior de la torre, debido a la reducción de la altura de planta en los últimos niveles de la torre.

La maqueta fue probada en un túnel de viento y al momento que arrojaron los resultados, probaron maqueta con en una escala real que se le denomina pared cortina.La pared cortina es el revestimiento exterior que recubrirá al edificio.Un laboratorio es el que se ocupa en realizar las pruebas en edificios nuevos con agua, calor y viento; todo lo que la naturaleza ofrece, este laboratorio lo reproduce.

Los Vidrios son europeos de Color gris plata; y esta diseñado para dejar pasar la mayor cantidad de luz y aislar el calor del exterior.En la parte mas alta del edificio el viento sopla con mas intensidad así que los vidrios deben ser mas gruesos en la parte superior.

Al momento de realizar las pruebas con la maqueta; probaron que cantidad de aire que penetraba, con la prueba de estática y dinámica probaron la filtración de agua,Y la ultima prueba es simular un terremoto, el piso de la maqueta se mueve 10mm a cada lado, es para asegurar que la pared cortina no se quebrara, y al momento de hacerlo paso la prueba.

WER Probaron con diferentes muestras de vidrios de dos fabricas diferentes de Europa, es un Vidrio Blanco Luminisado.

Después de buscar diferentes muestras de vidrios han logrado encontrar un vidrio a la perfección que la imagen que refleja sea real y que no muestre deformidades ni colores al momento de reflejar el sol.La cantidad de paneles de vidrio que se van a incorporar en el Burj Dubai, lograrían tapizar hasta unos 25 estadios de fútbol americano. El vidrio es fabricado en dos fabricas distintas para recuperar el tiempo perdido.
